The story about teacher April really bothers me because her abusive behavior could’ve left an imprint on those kids. My mom got my 2nd grade teacher fired for being abusive toward me in very similar ways. Decades later in therapy, we worked out that we’re pretty sure it’s what triggered my BPD. Schools need to take action much faster when it comes to teachers being straight up abusive like that
