Just found this series through Brooke Cormier (who I also just found) and this could not have come at a better time for me. I keep not giving myself permission to experiment and make ugly art. Now I'm going to make it a regular part of my practice. Here's to growth!

thank you for explaining price vs value!!! that is so true, i started out 10 years ago and had to give all my art away for free because people didnt have a use for them. to me i was proud that they took the time to drill a hole in a wall and hang my piece on their office wall, wow! having my name on the wall boosted my pride, but after a few weeks of costly canvas and painting i became dispondent, packed away my supplies and joined the corporate world. 10 years later i am dusting off my kit and starting from scratch! 😊 thanks for these videos Tim, they are so valuable to me right now. This time i know how to avoid becoming despondent!

If you don’t have enough paint but want to do thick chunky paint , get acrylic molding past or extra heavy gel

Its almost like I am learning from both of you from seas away. I am from India and i have been confused about lot of things since i dont have a direction in art. And thats stops me from considering it as a profession. But your videos gives me confidence tim and brooke. I ll take up some similar tasks. Just that i might not have someone to comment on it.
