"my Mom loves my work" hahaha, I'm totally stealing that line. (she does, you know)

Were these first ones varnished in any way? The consistent mounting looks great, but I wondered about the surface protection.

I believe they were varnished with an acrylic varnish

It would be useful if you could mention the medium used for each painting. Lovely work by Brooke.

Hi Tim, At what level of artistic development one should consider registering a business and start selling their work? Is it at any stage of development or is at some particular level of required proficiency? Thank you and I love your channel! Gordan
@timpackerfinearts6 жыл бұрын
Hi Gordon, glad you are enjoying the channel :) The main level you need to hit is where people actually start showing an interest in acquiring your work... usually friends & family... and from there when strangers start showing an interest. So then the question becomes how do you get your work in front of strangers.... Social media is a great way now to get your work in front of people and guage their interest. also if you join your local art association they usually have shows for members.

Tim thank you kindly for your prompt response! I recently became a member of art association and they will have a show in April this year. I guess this will be my first opportunity to gauge interest of public for my current work. Thanks again, Gordan

What a clever idea, to place the price where you can clearly see that they're checking it out 👍

When you get into the bigger paintings for what I do sq inch seems so expensive compared to pricing on small works. But with linear I find the small works more expensive that is necessary. So grappling now with how to smooth this out....do you have a preference for square inch versus linear inch pricing?
@timpackerfinearts7 жыл бұрын
I price the smaller ones a little bit differently because a small piece takes more work per square inch because each one is its own unique composition. So the small pieces work out more per square inch. Once I get up to a 24 by 24 or bigger I price per square foot

Tim Packer Fine Arts thank you - good to know sounds like both methods require some massaging at either end
