I have the same bike and bent my bars last weekend. Ive never changed bars b4, so my question is will i have to shave off the ends too and why? Thanks.
@828Outdoorz Жыл бұрын
We only cut some off the end to adjust the width for Brooke. Aftermarket bars are designed so you can cut them down based on rider comfort and position. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

@828Outdoorz8 ай бұрын
Should be able to drill a hole or even shave off the stub on the kill switch.

What size chest protector does Brent wear I’m about his size and am not sure if I’m a L to 2xl or if I need bigger it’s about 22” to armpit to armpit

@@jasonlemmond3012 To be safely honest I never wear a chest protector. 🤦♂️ I need to but I don’t. I do wear a neck brace.

@@828Outdoorz I ask bc I came from street bikes got the 25 crf250f and have had 3 times I’ve got in trouble went to put my foot down and fell I’ve got a helmet but I didn’t have boots and possibly broke my foot the other day so it’s got me lookin at safety

Not sure if that many drops is normal or if I’m just that bad

@@jasonlemmond3012 The way we ride we usually go down a few times! Lol! It just takes time on your bike and getting used to it. Boots are 100% a must in my opinion. Not only protects your feet but more importantly your ankles. Highly recommend a good chest protector also even though I was horrible and never wore one. I split my small intestine in half when I was 15 and had I had one on I may have been not had that injury.

I’m doing the same mods. Did you need a longer clutch cable? Or how did you route the cable? Mine seems to be too short.
@brentmtb7 ай бұрын
No we was able to use all factory cables and all. Kept them routed the way they were with factory bars.

Did you get new cams to fit for the new grips or did you just get new ones
@828Outdoorz Жыл бұрын
So as of the time we did the video no one makes a lock on cam for the CRF250F. I tried to modify the factory throttle tube like some have done but I did not trust it for safety concerns. We ended up using glue on grips and a new factory throttle tube. Pretty disappointing that no one makes a lock on grip cam because these bikes have become very popular. Thanks for watching!

Did you guys ever find the right cams for this bike?
