Even his family would lie on his behalf so we would both be at his house at different times. He would change his phone wallpaper depending on which girl he was with and delete the others texts, hide pics, etc he was extremely calculated. This went on for a year and then I found everything out. Fucking insane. Trust issues on 100

Hearing about Brooke’s experiences with Clinton made me remember an experience of my own. I had an ex I was with for 5 years, in the very first year of our relationship he told me he had cancer, of course me being young I believed him even though there was no valid proof and his family never seemed to mention anything about his “cancer”. Anytime we got into an argument he would guilt trip me into saying it could be his last day and there I was making us argue. He was extremely emotionally (and physically) abusive. When the relationship was nearing its end I decided after years to reach out and ask his sisters and mom if the cancer situation was even real and of course as you may have guessed, it was not. There was plenty of other things he lied about but this was one of the huge ones that always stuck with me. I relate to Brooke so much and it makes me feel better knowing just like her, I was not crazy for feeling the way I did in that relationship.

I have emetophobia!! Brooke is right, it can be EXTREMELY debilitating and has affected every aspect of my life since I was 4 years old. I had to skip through that story but I went back when I heard her trying to say emetophobia bc my ears perked up at the rare mention of it lol

Brook sharing her story truly helped me, I appreciate her & her strength of speaking about something very valnerable and feeling comfortable sharing it on Trisha’s podcast 🧡

PLEASE ask Brooke - in her story where Clinton got covid and asked her to quarantine with him in his hotel room - does she think he actually had covid or was it a ploy to get her all to himself for a few days

Brooke stop reading negative comments! You have so many fans who thought this was batshit and cared so much from the first time you brought it up, and still care just as much now. Both about what happened to you, as well as you sharing your story however and whenever you want. Also the girls look amazing 🫶

I was interested in it from the start, but I didn’t want to put pressure on her to talk about it- she clearly didn’t want to with Zach, yet she still had to. But I was always waiting for the moment she felt comfortable enough to spill 😮💨

Brooke is just describing a person in a relationship with a narcissist. I don’t have BPD and I relate to every single thing she mentioned that she was feeling and many of her experiences. You don’t have to have a mental illness to be manipulated by a narcissist.
@sierasons62836 ай бұрын
True that you dont have to have a mental illness to be manipulated by a narcissist but a BPD diagnosis does affect how one perceives relationships and emotions can be magnified. I don't think thats fair to say "just" and invalidate someone's actual diagnosis that they are medically treated for.
