speaking of covid, we are in a summer wave please be cautious everyone! try to avoid crowded places without good ventilation and wear a mask if you have to be on planes public transportation etc! test multiple times if you're exposed, tests are less accurate but doing multiple tests can give more accurate results! 💓 remember there are disabled, immunocompromised and elderly ppl among us who are at increased risk! and for yourself, too, every infection increases your odds of long covid even asymptomatic! so please be safe, it can end up being debilitating! i know it's scary to think about, but it's better to know how to keep safe 💓 and i say all this out of love!

It blows my mind that his accent didn’t become a major issue earlier, because it’s not just that he slips between Australian and American, it’s that a lot of what is not American really isn’t Aussie either. From the few clips we saw here, like no young Australian would excitedly say “yes, yes, yes”, we’d all say “yeah, yeah, yeah.” And he enunciates his Ts in the clips you showed too, instead of saying them as a “d” sound. It’s really obviously not Australian, more like, bits of Australian that he’s picked up crammed in with American and then that weird like posh English enunciated accent that for some reason he’s thinking is Aussie. Maybe he’s confusing australians drawing out the vowels for enunciating our consonants, which we really don’t do unless we’re a 65 year old public radio presenter (and in that case, we’re not drawing out our vowels 😂). Anyway, his accent also just makes no sense in terms of Australian variants, it goes between a stereotypical broad Steve Irwin accent, that Americans often mimic and associate most closely with our accent, to like, basically the queen’s English. Pick a lane. Sure, we can kind of shift between those two extremes a bit based on who we’re talking to, like if it’s a formal or casual setting, but we’re not doing it within one convo, and we’re not doing it to such extremes.

it's really sad cause Clinton had potential before this. He didn't need the fake accent or the fake dead family, he didn't need to cheat on 50+ different women to be adored, and he didn't need to be a psychopath. If he just went to therapy, none of these people would've been hurt and he wouldn't be on the decline rn. All he had to do was not be a pos and just let his music show who he was and he would've been really really popular. He has a beautiful voice and people love underrated indie artists rn. Missed opportunity, had to be an abuser, manipulator and overall just a massive pos.

This sounds absurd probably, but I also have BPD (got diagnosed two years ago) and I was stuck in a marriage with a lying cheater for TEN YEARS because I couldn't bring myself to leave him. I also had to convince myself that I was in love with him when we first started dating. So, to hear that someone like Brooke suffered something of the same (though mine didn't lie about dead family members oof), kind of is a relief. I'm not the only overly attached, emotionally unstable fool. I'm so glad she got out of that after a few months - really good work.

The best predictor for future behavior is past behavior so if someone has hurt you or disrespected you in the past, there is a more than 50% chance they will do it again.
