Brooke Shields ; a poster child for an American girl abused by Hollywood, Mother, Husband (Agassi), Press, and People who didn’t really realize the Blue Lagoon was almost an adult rated film. I wish her all the best in her future endeavors, cause she deserves nothing but the best.

I remember it comi ng on the tv and my mom saying similar. That we could watch it later as it wasn't okay for my sisters. Yeah I remember cringing and grateful my mom was on her computer not fully paying attention to the scenes. I'm glad she's got to speak about it. I wish sooner like many others.

Omg I loved this interview so much! I’m 59 like Brooke and so much of this conversation resonated for me. Lots of work needs to be done especially all the conditioning everyone’s grown up with about women aging. And conversations like this must continue. Thank you Kelly and Brooke!❤❤❤👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I love BOTH of these brilliant women who LEAD, but also are so grounded in compassion. I loved Suddenly Susan, confess that I have watched A Castle for Christmas several times, and the interviews with her and Cary Elwes were HILARIOUS. Brooke could laugh at this. We were never allowed to have Calvin Kleins. However I MADE a white pair from a sewing pattern to show in dairy 4H! And I won a sewing award!

My oldest has always been one to give out compliments to complete strangers since she was young. Just a simple, I love your hair, your outfit, whatever is something she has always done. It's usually to women, but all ages, and older women would say to her thank you you just made my day. ❤

I had Brooke (and Christopher Atkins) all over my wall as a kid. I was too young to see Blue Lagoon alone so my Dad went in when I bought my ticket and said "It's okay for him to see this film." I will always be a fan. 💖

I ran into some friends at a casino one night. Haven’t seen them in several years. By this point I’m 65. They probably last saw me around mid 50s I over heard the man say….Oh My Gosh what happened to Debbie? She use to be stunning. I took to the bed. Did not go out for months . cried I could not find a filler for these wrinkles short of wood puddy!!! I have learned to like myself at this age. Fine with me!!! People need to learn manners!!!!!! I am now 70 ish and still look Perdy good!!!

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'd be crushed too. It seems like men view the world more visually than us--I wonder what he sees when he's looking in the mirror now. Probably has himself fooled that he's still 24. At any rate that was very rude--no one looks like they did when they were in their 20's. And we are all beautiful at ANY age!!! 💜 (And I kinda feel sorry for his wife if he's that shallow).

She's a class act. Seems very down to earth, honest and caring. What more could we ask of anyone, never mind a woman who is iconic for a generation? I can only imagine how hard it is to live up to some people's standards--she was iconically beautiful as a 15 yo and still is at 59, but she's age appropriate. I believe there's a double edged sword for women. If you have work done, then you're insecure and you've sold out. If you don't, you look horrible and visually disappointing. Anyway, I loved this segment--it shows how both Kelly and Brooke value honesty (and hard work). 💜

been there, wondering why manifesting seems to work for everyone else but not for me. i followed all the advice, but nothing seemed to click. then i read Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it completely shifted my perspective. chapter 3 has this one idea that changed how i see energy, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for me.

Just wait to you reach the zero fucks given moment nothing be afraid off just absolute freedom. Aging is not a scary thing its a privilege to become yourself in a society that forces you to just adhere to their rules, being 40 and so on is the age where you discover life and womanhood defined by you not society

@chrisel434912 күн бұрын
That’s because they are not journalists, but just famous singers and actors who were handed a talk show. It’s unfortunate that they’ve been told that people want to see and know as much of them as the guest. They are misguided. They should learn how to do this particular job well for respect and longevity (if they want it).

@@zacha4616 Are you a professional therapist? I'm thinking not, since a true professional would never come to a conclusion from 1 interview and they certainly wouldn't post in the comment section. Btw, a true narcissist does not experience compassion--I heard a tremendous amount of compassion and strength from Ms Shields. Perhaps you need to stretch yourself re: your judgmental attitude. Just a thought.
