yes- the entire segment just feels incredibly rushed, all the while kate is actually being real, profound, and at normal pace that is required for actual meaning to be conveyed. television definitely has changed for the worse.

@@Minkyminky09 the fact that a British actor nailed a Pennsylvania accent so hard was crazy to me. I’m from Massachusetts which has been a butchered accent by so many great actors. (Jeremy Renner in The Town is the complete opposite of that. 10/10. No notes. Perfect Masshole accent.) But a Philly suburb accent is so specific and she absolutely crushed it.

I adore both Kate and Kelly! Titanic and The Holiday are 2 of my all time favourite films! And I listen to Kelly whenever I can! She has a song for every mood, doesn't she? I absolutely love that Kate Winslet has Titanic come up in almost every interview she does, which will probably continue to be the case for decades! I can imagine her sitting there one day when she's about 80, and I want to make a record of how many people ask her "If they remake Titanic will you play old Rose?"... She'll hear it 1000 times a week, because no doubt she'll still be acting at that age because she is TIMELESS! And she'll smile and say "Maybe!" even though she probably has no intention of doing it 🤣she's such a great sport where Titanic is concerned! She's not at all a diva that says "THE NEXT PERSON TO ASK ABOUT TITANIC WILL NEVER WORK IN THIS INDUSTRY AGAIN!". She just takes it in her stride, she knows how much people love the film, she loves her fans and is grateful for the love and the career the film has given her. She doesn't even LOOK fed up when it's mentioned! She's such a star! People will remember her for centuries to come! ❤❤❤

But then people would be like "BORING! Never saw that movie so I have no idea what she's talking about, nor do I care!" and they'd turn the channel. Kelly's ratings would plummet and her show would eventually be cancelled. Meanwhile, you would be at home wondering "what happened? Why is her show being cancelled?" Then, it would be replaced by a program that you didn't like nearly as much and you would lament "I miss Kelly's show. I can't believe they replaced her show with this one." You'd start to till the time with something else, since that show is such a drag. Eventually, you'd stumble upon a quilt making channel on YT and realize that it actually looks really good - so, you give it a chance and make your own. The first few you hand out as gifts but then you start selling them and make good money.

As I sat in the theater, watching _The Holiday_ for the first time, I thought to myself, "I will buy this DVD the day it comes out!" Since then, my holiday season is not complete until I have watched it at least once. I identify deeply with Iris and Miles, I just love _looking at_ Jude Law and Cameron Diaz, _and...as a musician...I love Hans Zimmer's score! 8:40 - Did anyone else catch the fact that she said, "I hear you're the woman to see about a job," in an American accent, just for that one moment? BRILLIANT!!! I can't wait to see _Lee._ I'm a big fan of biopics, and...as a father of daughters...I'm excited to see more and more biopics about amazing _women_ in history!

I love Kate Winslet. She is such a great actress and a fashionista. My favorite movies of hers are Titanic, Reveloutionary Road, and Quills. Ouills is a must see. It has a great cast, Geofrey Rush, Michael Caine and Joaquin Phoenix. Fair warning its an art house movie that deals with sexual themes.
