It's not, I think it's rad, and would love to be associated with it myself. But what I mean is that I find it crazy for so many people in Hollywood to be into it, there has to be actual powers connected to it, because so many powerful people are doing it in secrecy... The less heard story of Brooke that not many people know is that Sia created her. Brooke wrote a story about how Sia created her career in the website Noisey on March 8th 2016: "The first time I met Sia I was, for the most part, still homeless. I was squatting in a filthy punk house with like 15 people, no hot water, and endless filth. Sia found me on Instagram and asked me to meet her at this vegan restaurant, so I did. I had long braids, and she was dressed very simple, very pretty. She has this presence about her-it was a bit intimidating at first. Initially we met because she said she just wanted to write one song for me, and that turned into: "I'm going to executive produce your first album, help you get a record deal, find you decent, nice, honest management, and help you make the art you want to make from a place of positive mental health and love". After that first meeting, she kind of just took over my project-and when I say took over, I mean she helped me fix every aspect of my life." How does this happen to ANYONE? Spot on, I respect Sia so much for not giving this opportunity to a blonde marketable basic bitch who can do nothing by herself and only obeys the people who profit from her, instead Sia chose an independent artist with strong visuals and a strong message, and who isn't afraid to speak her mind. But the music industry for females is sadly a dark place, it's ran by males who surround themselves with beta-bitch singers, and you have to become one in order to get a shot in the big game. Looking at the charts, all female artists who are on the top are tools, there is always money to be made by the record companies, and most major mainstream female artists are objects who rely on their daddy who has contacts to get ahead. There are many tragic examples of how singers said no to being a tool, and then their careers flopping due to the industry turning in on them, and not giving them opportunities anymore. The biggest example in my opinion is Lady Gaga, she herself has said that during 2008-2011 she was nothing but a brand and a tool to her record company, but in 2012 she realized that there's more to being an artist than taking selfies, and she started saying no to unfair deals. The rest is history, she hasn't had one major hit since Applause in 2013, and her last #1 is from 2011. The last thing I want Brooke to do is become a beta-bitch and start kissing record company daddies asses to get ahead like all popular mainstream female singers currently, I really hope that she won't do it, and will instead keep doing what she wants even if it doesn't give her a big break.
