Brookline is my hometown, and although I no longer live there, I retain fond memories of it! I graduated from Brookline High in 1964. It was much less crowded back then! Also, if you view this, be sure to visit the Busy Bee Restuarant on Beacon Street, reviewed by the Phantom Gourmet. It's the best comfort food (generous portions!) ever!

I was also a Brookline girl, not there now , moved away in 74, traveled the country, but have fond memories o of my awesome childhood. If lucky I'll get to see it again ✌️💗

It always felt like a neighborhood of boston because it's totally surrounded by boston at least 4 out of the 6 sides it should be a village or enclave you have industry side beacon Boylston comm ave then residential

Brookline is too expensive to live, and the worst thing is not to allow overnight street parking, and many apartments for rent come without parking space, that means you have to rent a space somewhere in order to park your car. It is horrible.
