Great interview! Steve Lombardi is a legend and has provided more entertainment than several of the top stars of yesterday and today.

All the Wrestlers i have talked to have had nothing but great thing to say about Steve Lombardi. He is very respected by his peers. From Kim Chee, MVP and Doink he was always active in the the WWF. One of the best Workers ever.

Steve's a very interesting guy -- and a terrific wrestler. I never paid much attention to him years ago for some reason, but after watching some of his matches on KZbin, it was like "wow," he's a great worker and tough as nails.

I remember seeing a match between Steve Lombardi and Barry Horowitz. I believe it was on the Saturday morning show the WWF used to have. It was the only time I EVER saw a match between 2 enhancement guys. I forget who won but even as a kid I remember thinking it was cool seeing them square off cause they always had to take on the "invincible" guy you knew they weren't going to beat.

I know Steve Lombardi has written an Autobiography audio book of his career. But I hope he might Write a real Autobiography book about his 32 years in WWE. He has tons of Stories to share if he ever does someday. I'm sure someday he will go into the Hall of Fame.

I wonder if Steve remembers there was a kid in his class named John Cassisi. He was in a TV series at the time called Fish it was a spin-off of Barnie Miller. Another guy he went to school with wound up becoming an actor was on The Sopranos. New Utrecht high school spawned a lot of talented people.

29:12 Great interview. I loved the things he said about Warrior. I recognized when the DVD came out that he was the only person saying nice things about Warrior and putting him over. I view him as a class act then and now because of that.

A dying boy (literally on his deathbed) was brought to a WWF event and taken backstage to meet the wrestlers. Every wrestler (Rude, Perfect, Hart, Santana, et cetera) that walked past the boy, stopped and talked to him. Even though he had his face painted like him; when Warrior walked by, he could not be bothered to stop/talk. When he returned from the ring, Warrior looked at the boy and once again passed right by. Upon seeing the devastation caused to the boy and his family, Rick Rude quickly snatched Warrior by his hair and shoved him through the nearest door into a room of unknown purpose. He angrily told him, "If that boy sees you take one step back through that door, I will beat the life out of you." Rick Rude (a bad guy) was really a good guy and Ultimate Warrior (a good guy) was a really bad guy.

they wouldn’t need to even go on a murderous rampage. Just having the cure for cancer and not giving it to people would almost be considered murder.

Regardless of what the deal was with Pat Patterson , Lombardi deserves Hall.of Game. Roddy Piper was a victim of POS Pat Patterson so I'm sure Lombardi had a tough choice if that is what happened.
@steveo15562 жыл бұрын
Brawler randomly came up to me one time a few years ago in Winston-Salem and said something to me about taking a few pics backstage and said Vince would have fired me. I then told him that I could care less, and that I don't work for Vince and went about my business. It’s obvious that he’s a trained puppet on Vince’s shoestrings when he is no longer working for the guy. He later asked me for a ride to Charlotte to catch his flight and I said hell no. No doubt he was entertaining, but sometimes you gotta stop randomly name dropping.
