Jai looks great but he’s extremely unproven! Which World Class fighter has Jai defeated other than an over-the-hill Briedis? Jai has certainly NOT “cleaned up the whole division”, and I have no idea where you get the idea that he’s “always wanting the hardest/biggest fights”. Maybe he does want those fights and it’s Eddie Hearn who’s keeping those fights from happening, but unless you’ve personally spoken to Hearn or Opetaia I don’t know how you can make that claim with 100% confidence…. I’m not saying that Jai can’t beat the top guys and go undisputed, but he has not even come close to proving that he’s capable of actually doing that. He looks great against bums but that doesn’t necessarily mean too much. That’s just like if one of us Americans says that Tank Davis is the best lightweight in the world and can clean out not only 135, but also the 140 division and possibly do major damage at 147! We have no proof that Tank can do that whatsoever! All we know is how fantastic he looks up against total Tomato Cans! I believe Jai vs. Zurdo is a great 50/50 fight, but let’s calm down before claiming Opetaia is by far the best Cruiserweight in the world who is destined to easily become undisputed at Cruiserweight. I’m one American who very much enjoys watching Opetaia and believe he has what it takes to be the top dog at Cruiserweight, but I also believe Zurdo has just as much a chance of that. I understand being proud of a fighter from your own country, but try not to look past the guys from the rest of the world.

The only times Opetaia has faced world level opposition, he went the distance and his power didn’t look so impressive. Hearn is always trying to rush his fighters. Beating Nyika is no indication of how Opetaia would do against Usyk. Opetaia is demolishing C level fighters. The only A level fighter he took on, walked through his power and run him ragged. Opetaia is great but Hearn ruins fighters by rushing them.
