Brooklyn New York Parrots 2021

They added a Monkey Puzzle Tree / Araucaria araucana to The Green-Wood Cemetery. Perfect addition to the green Quaker Parrots, aka monk parakeets.

I'm so glad they're still there! I've not been able to visit yet, but I plan on moving back Northeast within this year and I'd be glad to take a daytrip to see some feral/wild quakers ☺️ So cute! Hope they stay healthy and happy for many generations to come.

There was a flock for many years ( maybe still ) in Newport News Va. I never heard of them in NY before. I did, however, hear of a flock somewhere in Ohio - that really surprised me!

Yes we have literally 1000s of them living in London and they have spread across the UK. They will dominate most of the East Coast eventually as like in the UK they can clamatise for all four seasons. They can be very friendly but can be incredibly aggressive towards other birds
