Brooklyn Priest Racially Attacked

Tim Harfmann reports from Marine Park, Brooklyn, where a priest was allegedly threatened with a baseball bat. The Nigerian-born priest, known to his Good Shepherd Church parishioners as Fr. Melchizedek, was out for an early morning walk last week. That's when, according to authorities, a 25-year-old white man screamed racial slurs at him.

I went to school with Fr. Melchizedek. I guess the Lord wanted me to discover this video. Never heard that this happened. He was a good seminarian when I knew him. These guys watch too many of the wrong movies and TV shows.

Surprises me. Raised Catholic it was rare to witness any incidents of racism. Catholics are very tolerant. This italian guy must've been of another faith.
