Israel has renewed its evacuation order for parts of northern Gaza. Its military is pushing deeper into the Jabaliya refugee camp, where a week of intense fighting has left many trapped in homes and shelters with dwindling supplies.

Who knows what is the true level of support for Hamas; and for the raid and hostage taking in particular? One does not necessarily agree with what our governments do.
