Fantastic sound - but i have one small request that if they would dress in the costumes of Mozart's time period maybe it would add more flair to an otherwise perfect performance. Bravo

I like that you positioned the microphone closer to the viola (and cello, but I think the cello projects just fine) . It really highlights the importance of the inner voice in this quartet and brings out an amplified sense of classical harmony. Amazing job you guys!

Doesn't it seem to you that this group generally favors a bottom-heavy sound?
@sainturiel7459 Жыл бұрын
@@dennisdavis3919 why need to start a pointless argument lmao.
@tessEnichols19 Жыл бұрын
@@dennisdavis3919, From other recordings I have listened to, I’d agree that it is more of a bottom heavy sound. Definitely no negative connotation intended! I prefer it because it has a fuller sound, just as if I were in the room. One could argue that it isn’t as light, airy, and fluffy as Mozart tends to be, because of the microphone position.. That is only because the bass of the piece is amplified, right with the melody. I for one, think this is one of the loveliest arrangements of this piece. What is your opinion on the matter?

The Cello player is really into this piece. Love how he smiles and his facial expressions as he looks at the violins and over to the viola players. I was waiting on the 2nd piece for the 1st violinist to pop a string. Beautifully played.

GORGEOUS 😍🩷😭😭 This is the first classical piece I ever remember hearing- when I was in preschool. There was a 1970’s Sesame Street clip, of a little girl and boy, playing in the woods, in the fall leaves 🍁 It was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard, and I immediately decided I wanted to be a classical violinist. Unfortunately, I never got lessons or achieved my dream 💔 But I will always love this music 🩷 Thank you!

Nice to finally see people playing the piece as actual chamber music and with the staccato it demands. Really is missing the double bass, though. Still, clearly better than any orchestra rendition.
