Tim McGraw has the kind of vocals where he would cover a lot of great songs and make them feel like his own. He is a well established top country artist and for good reason. But he definitely sang this song as if it were his, and it captured that emotion the song requires like when Ronnie did it. Ronnie owns this song and sang it the best, McGraw sung it second best. And it would take alot to convince me that someone else could top these two.

I'm so in love with this performance and I was when I saw it years ago. Tim is amazing. The woman who does the background vocals sings beautifully as well. I've been with my wife going on 13 years. Been married 5 1/2 years of em. We have 2 beautiful kids and another on the way. About 12 years ago she told me about this "Tim McGraw." I listened and didn't like a note the guy sang. For women I can understand the attraction but from a man who thinks he has a good ear for music"cough" I thought he was horrible, that was until I heard this version of this classic.
