As you say, this powerful song/video cuts right to the core of what matters in life. Our culture wants us divided but our Creator tells us to love one another. Great job, both of you!

I lived with my grandparents when I was a kid and there were no other kids in the neighborhood. I got to know a few of the older people in the neighborhood and they were all so kind and welcoming to us. My grandma told me they would tell her any chance they got that they loved hearing us outside playing and seeing us.

The video is especially hard-hitting, but Ronnie Dunn's voice ... oof. All of it. I've seen this so many times over the years that I can't count, but it still chokes me up.

I need to hear this song daily since I first heard abd saw this. At 72 I've had some lossses, but this was just when I needed it. My own Mom who died at age 95 in 2006 when my brother was 65 and I was 55 was so openly strong in her belief I received a booster in faith and watching it grow. The young boy received that gift from her jus as the boy did watching "Old Man Wrigley" living that belief as a lesson ❤

Nice, old school. Nice break from hardcore metal. Try I Drive Your Truck from Lee Brice. I literally make my daughter cry when she hears that song lol. But it's a good thing. We all have the feels from time to time

You know, I've heard many times people saying, "I don't trust anyone who doesn't have a pet". lol, well I'm not sure about that. I kind of think there are many people who would LOVE a pet but simply don't feel that they can care for it. Well anyway, I say that I'm not sure I trust anyone who can watch this video and not shed a tear. So very moving.

This song can be summed up with three lines from those words in red,.. “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31).

Uts also the Ikd man teaching the boy about believing in the Lord and Heaven. The words "written in red" are in the bible when Jesus is speaking
@JeanieDean627 ай бұрын
Been thinking a lot about those “words written in red”. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, maybe I just need the touch of The Comforter, or maybe The Lord is getting ready to call me home…who’s to say? Unlike Ronnie, I know the chapter and the verse, or, at least, one of them. Jesus said in John Chapter 14: 1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye BELIEVE in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. I BELIEVE…❤

I "believe" in GOD. Just look around! I am not sure about the Bible and organized religion. But, the message this video sends to me gives me comfort and hope.

Some Bibles have the words of Jesus printed in red letters; the elderly man believed in what the LORD says about salvation of his soul.
