I was a bartender at a Country dance club. This song was often used at 10pm to let the crowd know that "It's Dancing Time!" We had an amazing DJ. He would start at 8pm with some new releases, couples dances, and some line dance stuff. But at 10pm..... he'd play this song announcing all boots and hats to the floor. And the floor was alive for the next 4 hours!

I took my daughter over to Las Vegas to see Brooks and dunn with Reba. We got to go back stage and meet them they were great down to earth people. We also had front row seats and during the song boot scootin boogie kix(the one with the hat) brought my daughter up on stage with him and danced with her.
