Anyone have opinions on everything that’s happened or why Brooks went solo and the meaning behind the songs? (I know they’re only songs but if the shoe fits right?)

I actually like the songs a lot, they really grew on me the past few days, especially this one. It sounds like a sea shanty and reminds me of some old tunes he’s made. I think brooks is strictly singing about his life in himself in these new tracks, and isn’t really mentioning the band. I think brooks made a big effort to distance himself after the allegations, and as far as the band goes I think it’ll be a wile before they ever get in the studio again. But it’s understandable, there are still people who haven’t forgiven the band, and probably never will. But those people are the minority of the general fanbase so we’ll just have to wait and see. For now I just wanna support brooks on his solo ventures. Also I’m trying to respectfully separate his art from the bands and give him the opportunity to express his work the way he want. So I’m just happy that things are moving again and can’t wait to see what else happens!
