This is quite a controversial band as they've been accused and affirmed of one (or multiple) cases of sexual assault. I chose not to talk about this in the video since i've been a fan of the band since before this happened and wanted to focus on the music. But i guess it's pointless to not make a statement after all. What these guys did makes me sick to my bones. And nothing they'll ever do will make up for what they did to those women. This video is in no way intended to support their horrible acts. It's an isolated look at their music. And i hope it can be treated as such. If you want to know more about their misconducts, you're only a google search away.

Never herd of it, and the whole burger records thing until some people started mentioning it here. Huge growlers fan too, so this is like a metalhead discovering the Manson issues. This misconduct thing is turning into more of an epidemic than the previous one. We, in the states, hear of at least a couple reports weekly of actors, musicians and govt. officials on both sides getting exposed for mistreating women. Glad for the exposure, but sickened for how many people are strictly dedicated to treating a fellow human that way.

as a fan i can say that you forgot a lot of stuff that happened to they all theese years, the fire, members leaving, Scott moving from bass to drums and the inclusion of Anthony on bass gave they a way more solid sound, in my opinion, city club is a great album that shows a lot of work on it, but it dissapointed me like almost all long time fans, i found it really hard to listen to it at first, i loved chinese fountain and hung at heart, so all the changes that came with city club were, at least, hard to accept, and the departure of scott and anthony gave me hard feelings about this new era, in addition, i felt that the new members didn't match at all with the whole band style, thankfully time made me appreciate the new growlers, and the step back to the roots of their music with casual acquaintances made me really happy when i first got to listen to it, they had to go through all of this to become what they are and what they mean to us the fans, and at last you didnt mention the pause they took due to known problems while on tour in Australia.
@richibrrr96842 жыл бұрын
I used to love this band during their early works. Hung at Heart and Chinese Fountain were masterpieces to me and lifted my mood a lot during hard times. Unfortunately the band lost me after City Club. Had to do with certain members leaving that I really liked and were important in my eyes for the typical Growlers sound. And with City Club I had the feeling the sound has lost his roughness which I really cherished. Nontheless I understand they had to make this step to open for a bigger audience.

‘In Between’ is the best song from ‘Hung at Heart’ Edit: best song maybe only if you’re an American (and somewhat patriotic lol) . That’s not meant to be racist or anything. Because, underneath all of your worry and doubt -> some thing or somebody is trying to get out. -> -> True love wears a veil.... Nobody ever asks brooks where he obtained his wisdom and insight.
