You don’t set up world record attempts under the worst conditions, but under optimal conditions. All requirements to qualify for the attempt and title were fully adhered to.

So your plowing a field that has already been plowed??? What's the point? Maybe I'm wrong but it looks to me the field was prepped before hand. This is pretty awesome, but where I come from when you plow a field, it looks nothing like this. But again, this is a cool video, what a setup.

@kored0113 жыл бұрын
well well well :D if u would come to sweden and plough on our Vasbo-clay the case would have to switch to an 5 furrow plough to be able to pull it. :D
@ajloefer71569 жыл бұрын
It should only be a record for the biggest plow not the most amount in a certain time period plowed because of the loose ground
@generalleejesse11 жыл бұрын
your right there im a case ih guy the record was set by 2 steam tractors with a 50 bottom plow if im not mistaken 1 steamer alone will pull a 20-23 bottom ive watched it happen so this record dont count

these people dont seem to think when making comments... the land was a perfectly normal situation. probably stood for one season max like most people do when they have land that is of this size for planting. Running around saying things like 'its worked' or they wouldnt do this in clay etc... just shows the thoughtless type of people who are on youtube. I for sure wouldn't plough clay land nor would i plant in clay, let alone buy land that is clay ridden...
@colin34012 жыл бұрын
@Brooktop68 yeah at 1:06 i would have ran the planter is not plowing if your just flipping dirt not breaking it up

Come On! If you want to set a record for plowing then actually plow some ground that actually needs to be plowed. This is a joke.

I’m also a big confused about the depth settings on the front furs on the back plough . Looks like your running shallow to get more speed
@RealNotallGaming Жыл бұрын
that CASE tractor have infinite power X,D plus they say it in the video 28cm depth so is not deep, is normal if you want to preserve terrain
@1981Mansell12 жыл бұрын
It looks like the field is already tilled deeper than they are ploughing !! The plough wheels are sinking into the ground its so soft !! Even the vehicles driving at 1.40 are sinking into the soft soil.

bel filmato! ma potrei sapere in che luogo è stata effettuato il record?
@TheTuckerFarms12 жыл бұрын
It appears to have been disked or cultivated prior to being plowed. I would say that qualifies as "worked" ground, too. I'm not sure of the agricultural norms in your part of the world, but in the US we would typically plow immediately after the crop has been harvested to turn under the residue or to turn under sod. In your case, it appears that all you're turning under is soil. I don't see the point? But there may be one.
@JCB411abuser12 жыл бұрын
average working depth was 28cm, that's nearly a foot, bout half as deep again as you would usually plough and that "desert" looks like that dense kind of soil that is a heavy drag to me
@MrCodythegreat10 жыл бұрын
how is this considered a record? hes not actually ploughing. the mold mord plough is for turning sod so thats what it should be doing here, this vid is an epic fail
@AndreLeandro13910 жыл бұрын
And you cand do better? Why you dont try man?
@MrCodythegreat10 жыл бұрын
andre leandro if one doing better is your argument then your not mentally competent to understand my issue with the video. its not a matter of doing better or worse its a matter of Case IH bragging about having a record for ploughing, and them not actually ploughing to achieve it. so please choose your words or at very least let the gears between your ears turn enough to knock the rust off before commenting
@AndreLeandro13910 жыл бұрын
MrCodythegreat But you say that he is not ploughing why? The images show the field plowed and about 28CM deep, so what you cal plow? Come on i am a farmer i call plow from 16cm with an mototiler with a mouldboard to 1 meter with bulldozer
@MrCodythegreat10 жыл бұрын
andre leandro the moldboard plough is for turning sod, stuble down earth up, i to am a farmer and have been ploughing since i could reach the clutch. why I say hes not ploughing is because that field has allready been turned and harrowed to the point where its nice and fluffy, so of course hes going to fly through it at record speed. i want to see him turn sod which is what the plough is for then get a record for ploughing
@MrCodythegreat10 жыл бұрын
what i said is by no means rubbish, i made a very valid and correct point, im sorry if you are not quite able to grasp the concept but i will be happy to dumb it down a bit more for you if you'd like. "bullshit" being a lame mans term used by those who cant comprehend the topic in which they are attempting to contribute to. also I have never said i was a better then anybody at anything but i have given my honest opinion with constructive criticism. As for your silly little farmer comment, I have a couple hundred acres of crops in every year also cattle, so yes that qualifies as a farmer, to end off I have a wife, family and farm that im happy with, if thats not a life by your standards then thats your opinion but i am very content with it.

@Brooktop68 dont care about no certificate. plowing a field that is worked ahead of time so you can pull the plow faster. do it on sod ground(like normal farmers). the tractor probebly wouldnt haul a plow that big through sod though, i forgot. posers
@theffa192813 жыл бұрын
first point: I dont envy anybody who has to set all those furrows. Second point: the soil in Europe is signifigantly different than the soil in the United States. Bring that tractor and plow (plough) here to the U.S. and it will get stuck as soon as the last moldboard hits the ground.

Why worry about soil ecology? When was the last earthworm alive in this sterile plot? But I'd like to see farming practice that found a compromise between high-speed cultivation followed by chemical ferts, and the old time horse and single furrow plough.. The absence of birds indicates sterility; their presence means worms, a few grubs and fertility.
@hbourj7 жыл бұрын
Before modern agriculture with irrigation and fertilizers, this sandy ground was unproductive. It was a moor with a few trees where a few sheep grazed in the winter. Around these fields, it is an artificial forest of pines, now.
