An atypical Belgian jazz cocktail
This atypical orchestra of seven musicians has been playing joyful, unusual, generous, sensual, poetic and pleasantly crazy music for over twenty years. Before it was an orchestra, Rêve d'Éléphant was a dance show and from these origins, it takes its love of rhythm and movement. Since its creation in 2000, the group has released five albums in one of two versions: one theatrical and literary, Odyssey 14, and the other percussive and electronic, Repercussion. The unique sound of the Rêve d'Éléphant Orchestra makes the group identifiable from the very first notes. It is a music that surprises in a good way and is open to a lot influences that change its perspective in a very natural way. In 2020, they released an album to celebrate their 20th anniversary: dance dance a dynamic album that draws generously from jazz, oriental and African cultures. The brass instruments show great mastery, always with a touch of humour.
