NEW Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive, Walkaround, POV and Review

👋 In todays review we check out the 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye! This model for the Challenger is the top of the line minus having the wide body package and is fast! This 2022 Dodge Challenger is also the Redeye and this Hellcat has two keys depending on who you want having the full horsepower to those rear wheels! The exterior on this Challenger is fairly simple, it has a distinctive front end with the sunken in grill and headlights! This also has the cutouts inside the turn signals and drls for even more cooling! There is also a front spoiler on this model and aside from that, there are nice lines running down the side leading to the rear! The tail lights have a great oval shape to them! The interior on this 2022 Dodge Challenger has cloth seats and there is some plastic!
The back seat room in the challenger is very spacious! Three people could fit in the back making this a roomy five seater two door sportscar!
The drive is pretty smooth for this 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT, however in sport or track mode, it's a bit rough and bumpy, but that's what you want in that driving mode! So I like that it's configurable depending on the driving that you are doing! The steering input is a little vague, but I wasn't on crazy twisty roads and for the size, that's to be expected a little! The Dodge Challenger is a heavy vehicle right around 4K pounds, but it handles that weight pretty well and you need the Hellcat engine to get this up and moving! The supercharger whine is my favorite part! It's a quiet driving vehicle as well for the most part, if you are just driving like normal and has all the tech you need for a daily driver! I love how you can get several different trim levels depending on your budget and what you want from your Dodge Challenger! As you can tell in the beginning of this review, even with a mild acceleration, all the power being sent to the rear wheels, you need to be responsible with that power and know what you are doing! It can be a tame car if you drive normal, and then when you want some performance, push a few buttons and you are ready to go!!

I traded my challenger in for a camaro, purely just to have a convertible. Immediately after doing that I found out there's a company in Florida that will modify your challenger into a convertible for a reasonable price. These cars look amazing with the top down.

Close to the 383 in hp. And that front end is Classic old school. Handles a ton better than a Seventy’s Challenger. Soon to be my retirement car.

The Dodge Challenger is the last car I want to see in my rear-view mirror because the Challenger is so intimidating looking. For some reason to car reviewers an intimidating look doesn't matter much.

I just saw the new 2025 Dodge challenger it is crazy nice. It was being road tested, the dash is crazy nice like from the future. the interior and door panels are sick. the hood is even different. they ask not to take pictures, so no picture taken out of respect. you're going to be pleasantly surprised.

@@DKLGalactus5 EV’s are significantly more expensive to purchase than their gas counter parts. What little money you spend in gas, you’ll spend about twice as much in the purchase price of the EV. Plus EV cars depreciate at a higher rate. So really not worth buying if you do the real math. Even if a nice used one is cheap, good luck when the battery fails

@@DKLGalactus5 that’s irrelevant when you could buy a gas vehicle for $20K less and never spend that on gas ever. You have to look at everything and not just one aspect. The depreciation, what to do when the vehicle battery cell dies (probably have to total the car), lots of things to consider.

Sure it’s quick, but for the weight, there are cars with half the power that are faster. No denying this is a heavy boat.
