I saw a doll there that I got for my 1rst birthday and I'm 50 now. Her doll is in better condition and the winding mechanism still works. I had my doll restored. This is sad for me that it is all just left. I'm sure there's some incredibly valuable dolls. They should actually be saved. It's a shame she didn't have a testament so a doll museum can at least get them. I'm sure that's what she would want for something that comforted her and meant so much to her.

This was a hard video to watch. This woman had such a hard life. She loses her son at 18; & her husband drinks himself to deaths door. It’s a heartbreaking story; and now to see her home in ruins, along with all of her dolls that gave this woman joy… I so wish someone would come, as you suggested Lesley, and take the dolls away and do something with them - out of respect for Manuela. Bless her long, and difficult life. Thank you for sharing this woman’s story, and thank you both for the respect you give to each home you videotape along with the care you give to the family’s possessions. 🩷🕊️

the stairs looked like a vintage pastel painting tbh. i really love people who pour so much of their character into their homes by not holding back in giving it decorations that are very personal, bc it feels like the entire place is an accumulation of things made into one living art; one where just like paintings, you can admire, analyze, get a glimpse of someone's life, and get to know them even if they've long been gone. it shows such a rich story, both happy & sad. it feels like an honor to see.

The word you were looking for about the grandmother's sister is Great Aunt, the other word you were looking for is Crotchett which is a form of knitting only instead of two long needles it is a slim metal or hard plastic handle with a hook at the end. There were also some hand Tatted Doilies on some of the furniture. I too loved the Spanish style Crotchett dresses she made; it does take a few days to make one. Seems she spent many years making the hand Crotchett doll clothes. I love you and your friend explores of this house, how you keep saying this is beautiful. Even though the walls are crumbling and there is dust and webs I see that beauty you are describing. This little old lady was loved by her town's people it is evident by the wonderful dolls she received from them, also I think many of the 'Wavers' are just gorgeous! To live to one hundred and four is phenomenal to say the least. You kept saying she was lonely, and yes, I can see that, but she did have many friends it seems. She had a great niece who loved her and visited her so there was some family other than her deceased son and husband. I liked how you all showed how the roof was made, have not seen this on any other explores before. I wonder if the walls were packed with straw to strengthen them and keep the house cool in the hot months and warm in the cold months. Thank you so much for sharing this video! I am defiantly subscribing to your channel! 😊

This is one of my favorite of so many and large videos that i ever watched in your Channel Lesley and Danny. So amazing with all that hundreds of dolls and seems countless. I felt so sad with Lady Manuela who live alone by her home and found herself with the dolls that give her comfort. With her family gone she dedicate herself in continuing collecting dolls and make crochet skirt and some other stuff. Decades of her life found happiness and fulfillment without her husband and son. Dolls are like children, teaching what life is all about. Hope and pray that the locals could take care of all those dolls and make a museum or a tourist spot on it. That makes Lady Manuela lives on and history. Thanks Lesley and Danny for again another best and unique video i ever seen. One of a kind from the Philippines ❤️👍💯🇵🇭

Well This house is never comming back. She was very poor. Rich in dolls though. Her last days must have been very sad. I hope some of her life was happy. People have know idea how bad there lives could be. I dont know if I would want to live to 104. Everone would be gone. You would be just waiting for your life to end. Living with her husban as a drunk for years would be hell on earth. I feel so bad for her in so many ways. I hope the Lord wraped his arms around her and wecomed her home. She had a sad last years of life God bless her.

It’s sad but in a strange way the movie Coco showed me it’s a part of life, and we should not be so afraid of it. I miss my sister so so much but I know wen it’s my time, she’ll be there to hold my hand and guide me to the light, where Abuelita is, and Nina, Manny, Matchis, Omar and Francine too ❤

Hey dear Lesley, what a heartbreaking and entirely sad background story about that Spanish lady losing under such tragical circumstances her son and then later her husband! I am nearly speechless! Nevertheless could she reach an unbelievably high age with 104 years! So touching, that she still found apparently a lot of joy with her enormous doll collection, which certainly helped her to find solace in her life. - I loved once more your highly respectful and deeply emphatic approach to the life with all that tragical moments of the old lady, who used to continue living in her house even after the the passing away of her husband. Respect, my friend! Thank you so much for this very exceptional and deeply touching explore! - Of course I also want to mention how much I admire the outstanding camerawork and the beautiful background music, chosen by Danny! Respect, my friend! Stay safe, peace and kindest regards.

Nueva Suscriptora ☺

I agree the dolls should be removed displayed somewhere or even donated so that others can enjoy this amazing collection and her doll clothing handywork, I love the lady's collection of 'waivers' I live in the U.S., so I call them fans. She had several really lovely ones The house must have been beautiful when the dear woman was younger and able to care for it. I am glad that although this woman lived alone her neighbors provided her with comfort and friendship, his lady was tidy and well organized. The small, heavy one is probably bisque, not porcelain! The small bisque dolls are mignonettes. Porcelain is more like the white figurine of a dancer shown near the start, with minimal, light colours. Also, Danny was talking about the first bunny plush you touched on that bed, the softer, mostly pink one with a white face, with floppy ears (lop-eared)... he had it in blue, he said.

They say some people that have lost loved ones or have gone through tragedies that they collect things to make up for what they've lost. A lot of hoarders have been known to have lost their loved ones. Sad!!! 😢❤❤❤ Great find. ❤
