That’s what love is all about! One of most beautiful lovesongs ever: so much love in a simply „daily„ situation...

Just ADORE Eric Clapton, incredible guy. So talented its insane! I would love to have gone to see him in the past, but obviously too late now. He's just FABULOUS!!!!

Great reaction, guys! ... If you want to hear a younger, more rocking Eric Clapton from the 1960s and 1970s, I recommend his songs "Sunshine of Your Love" (1967 ... Eric sang lead on this song when he was in the band Cream) and "Layla" (1970 ... He sang lead on this song when he was the front man for Derek and the Dominos. This original version is a faster rock song. He recorded a slower acoustic version under his solo name in 1992 for an MTV Unplugged concert).

Wonderful backing vocals from Miss Katie Kissoon and Miss Tessa Niles. Bit of nostalgic info for you guys, the guy alongside Eric wearing the white t and waistcoat playing guitar is Andy Fairweather Low. Andy was in a fairly successful band in the 60s called Amen Corner

Good eye, Mr. Frey. I would have never known that was Fairweather if I didn’t know to look closer!

Bravo Bros for FINALLY featuring Eric Clapton, one of the greatest guitarists & vocalists of all time! I've seen him in concert 5 times at 3 different venues over the years & every single time has been an absolutely incredible experience! The man is & has ALWAYS BEEN a guitar god! You guys should REALLY take a long ride on the Clapton train! His music spans many generations! I suggest you check his "artistry" out from Cream, Derek & the Dominos, as a blues man & a solo performer! Eric Clapton is the ONLY person who's been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 3 TIMES!!! (1- with The Yardbirds; 2- with Cream & 3- as a solo performer!) That's some serious talent! Right!? 🔥🤘

That beautiful singer was Katie Kissoon, who has worked with E.C. for many years, but remember that was entirely her creation in which she did not pronounce a single word!

This was written for his wife Pattie Boyd, George Harrison's Ex, George wrote "Something" for her, she obviously inspired them, lucky girl. I don't know if you've done " Something" if not maybe you should.
@margiemcpeak93043 жыл бұрын
I believe you're mistaken. Layla was written by Clapton for Ms. Boyd; Wonderful Tonight wasn't!
@aj711694 жыл бұрын
Not to react to, but just because, listen to Wonderful Tonight on the 24 Nights album. Listen to the audio-only version(yes, it’s different from the 24 Nights video version). To really double up, listen to Old Love as well(they’re back-to-back). 20+ minutes of musical greatness.

Try the go fund me link. It asks how much you want to pay, usually a fiver. Then a box will come up saying continue. Scroll down and you can leave a message and the song you want.

Fantastic, boys. Thank you. Try Bob Dylans "Hurricane". The song which tells the story of real life boxer, Ruben "Hurricane" Carter, whom was falsely accused and jailed for a murder he didnt commit. Bob's song actually gained enough notoriety and helped play a part in getting Hurricane released from jail. INCREDIBLE song and story.

Sorry, but song likely NOT about Janis's lover. Written by Kris Kristopherson, and went to Billboard #1, postumously, after her death, at age 27. Sad . . . sad . . . sad. Check out her live performance at Woodstock '69, if you haven't already.

Sorry to disagree with all comments. I respect the music but, this is so misogynistic. It's completely about him loving her for looking good and being all about him. She's making him look good while he's just having fun.

This song is for who was girlfriend of Eric
@mortisrat4 жыл бұрын
With all the ACTUAL misogyny in music you're seriously getting pissy because a bloke mentions he fancies his wife? It's about one night in their life, written while he was waiting for her to get dressed. He thought she looked beautiful. Good for him. Men finding someone attractive is not misogyny in and of itself.
@michelle889604 жыл бұрын
It is a love song. A conversation to his wife. If you think this is misogynistic, then you must hate 99% of songs. Most songs are about being in love, not being in love. So you must think The Beatles catalogue is misogynistic, do you think I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Something, And I Love Her, Love Me Do, Get Back, I Saw Her Standing There, and Come Together are also misogynistic too? And don't get me started on The Stones.

Dana Brown I'm a woman and there's absolutely nothing misogynistic about it. He was in love with her and totally infatuated. It's the most natural thing in the world. When you are in love with someone, they are beautiful to YOU regardless of how they might appear objectively to anyone else. It's the combination of their looks and their personality and charisma all rolled into one. And it's also perfectly natural to feel ten feet tall when you walk around with someone you think is super hot! As a woman, I do NOT want to live in a world where men cannot show their appreciation for us. You think if you stop men from speaking about women in this way that it's going to change the fact that they think it?
