This is another of Clapton's songs that brings up SOOO many emotions. Every woman has wanted a man to feel this way about her, and every man has wanted a woman who can make him feel this much love. Some are lucky enough to get that once in a lifetime love. If you ever achieve that, cherish it with everything you've got. God bless your grandparents... they are obviously a big part of who you are and for those of us who don't have our grandparents anymore.... give them both a big hug and an even bigger thank you.

Easily one of the "BIGGEST" rabbit holes, you can go down. Ol' Slow Hands Clapton, is 1 of the Greatest guitarists of All time. Certainly the most prolific. Look up Cream-White Room, Derek and the Dominos Layla, also Eric Clapton Layla unplugged. The Dirty Mac-Yer Blues, Eric and B.B. King-Riding with the king, Eric and Santana-The Calling, Clapton Crossroads, Cream-Badge. List goes on and on.

You nailed it. This was an amazing song with great musicians starting with Eric Clapton. That young lady just blew it out of the water. Great story about the grandparents and that song. It's something how a song, as simple as it may be, can take you back exactly to a moment in time. Continued success with your reactions and your love for music. In this time of Quarantine, we have been doing Zoom meetings with the family from across America and we always end up playing music, because it has been our lifelong connection.

This is one of my favorite Eric Clapton songs. A classic; completely timeless. You probably already know this, but I'm gonna say it, anyway. The legacy that your grandfather has given you...how to cherish the woman in your life...is far beyond gold, or fame. It is a rare treasure, and COMPLETLEY priceless. I'm SO glad you had such a model in your life. It's SO unfortunate, how rare it is. You were blessed, my friend. Wonderful reaction, even though you were familiar with the song. It was GREAT!

When you were listening and reacting to the Carpenters, I had tears in your eyes when you expressed your sadness over the way Karen passed. I was about 9 or 10 when the Carpenters came out with their 1st album. She was amazing. Your grandmother sounds like a wonderful woman. She definitely has a fantastic grandson.
