Incredible. It's hard enough for adults to understand this style!

I have the CD with this piece of music on it: Brossard: Petits Motets. What a shame: You really ruined a beautiful piece of music by editing out the "choir parts." On the CD, the piece is just over 11 minutes. What you have here is only 5:39 minutes. The text is Psalm 51/50. The first verse is sung by the soloist, the second verse by the choir, and so on, every other verse, to the end of the Psalm. The choir part is a totally different style than the soloist part: it seems to be sort of accompanied & harmonized chant. The different styles of music make for a very beautiful and interesting piece.

I respectfully disagree. I found the choir parts rather tedious. I wanted to really accentuate the soloist's skill and incredible voice by editing it in this way. Some people like it, some don't. C'est la vie! :)

I received an email notification from KZbin telling me that Nooticus had made a comment about something I had posted. But his comment was nowhere to be found (a common problem, according to Google). So here is his reply (from the email) and my reply to him. Nooticus: Absolutely! The choral movements are by far the most exciting and varied parts! There are full versions of this on KZbin though thankfully. My reply: Yes, but not by Cyrille Dubois.
