Wanna hear a story about how human Lynch actually is and how idolizing a rapper personally ruined my life 10 years ago and still going? Used to love Lynch like a legend and that ended up devastating my life. Lynch refused to perform for a sold out crowd of possibly his most diehard fans in the world in Pueblo, CO due to my failure to fulfill the very last of my financial commitment. Contracted cost was $4500 plus travel, hotel, food, and alcohol. Over $4000 was there, but a couple hundo and lack of “adequate” stage lighting had him refuse to show up which is ironic because it was only lacking because he didn’t come for the pre-show VIP meet and greet people paid $50 extra for each for. Stayed at the hotel I paid for. One or two people died that night as a result of the chaos that ensued. Over a dozen pistols were confiscated from the crowd when police arrived en masse. I spent my life savings up to that point on that show because I loved Lynch since I was 14. And then I meet my hero and he doesn’t say a word, just gives me a dirty look because my broke project ass had my credit card bounce for the hotel reservation after they drove 15 hours overnight to get to Pueblo, CO. It took me an hour to hustle it up real fast and drive to Pueblo to pay it personally and apologize but I was a heartbroken kid meeting my idol while he was exhausted and unable to arrive to a bed ready for him and it was my fault. And then the next day he refused to appear after months of work and years of saving so it felt awful. It was my first show as a promoter. I couldn’t afford professional stage lighting but I seriously believed he would perform at our packed-out, overcrowded, oversold, hyped up, excitedly anticipated show, especially considering his tour was named the “F*** Da Industry Tour.” My partner was kidnapped by upset gangsters from the crowd wanting a refund and almost murdered him execution style under the bridge on the East Side because C-Lim (his tour manager that year) told the crowd to blame the promoters and not the tour. That instantly became a manhunt for us by an entire crowd turned lynch mob. But every damn dollar i made that night went directly to his hands and when the crowd rioted asking for refunds, he said “talk to the promoters.” Like shiiii bruh, you have my student loans for the semester, three years of savings, and my life dream in your pocket and yall ran with it. Not only that, but the following day, Lynch posted to all his tens of thousands of instagram followers, “if yall have a problem with how the show went last night, contact (mine and my partners full names, phone numbers, and emails)” perhaps not knowing we had multiple death threats. Resulted in a drive by on my house that hit through my 2 year old son’s room and my mother in law’s. Had to move. Had to change my number. My local music scene was mad at us and pushed us out of the business. I went bankrupt, in massive debt, ended up addicted and hopeless, lost my dream, lost my business I built through hard work from nothing, and eventually lost my children and wife over it all. Attempted to kill myself more than a few times and even when I wasn’t trying, I definitely also wasn’t trying to be careful with the amount of heroin I was shooting up at one time. 10 years later and I’m finally 4 years clean but still depressed af and addicted to gambling in a debilitating way. I’ve never recovered from all of that. Never meet your heroes 💯 I don’t think he even knows how impactful his decision was on my life that night and the lives of my children and their mother. For the rest of our lives so far. Right now, I’m fighting in court to be able to speak to or visit my children because their mom hates me so much for everything we went through that she won’t let me contact them. I’m broken. My life was grenaded and in my mind, Lynch pulled the pin. I take full accountability for not being prepared or on point as I should’ve been but bro… I was 21, I came from poverty, and I managed to pay 90% of the total cost and would’ve had the rest had he just APPEARED. I managed to get a venue booked, a sound guy, equipment, 6 opening local artists, paid security and bartenders, sold every regular and ViP ticket (unfortunately I had partners I couldn’t trust), marketed/promoted for 5 months relentlessly, lost many nights of sleep preparing for it, paid 3.5k cash upfront out of pocket that took me 3 years to save, almost died, watched people die, lost everything::: I think I paid enough for him to perform for a building full of devoted fans. It was traumatic night for all of us.:: me, my partner, his gf, my wife, dozens of other people. My wife was in the drivers seat and was frozen in fear with our vehicle surrounded by dozens of enraged fans, many with pistols pointed at us, smashing our windows out with bricks and shaking the car, pulling my partner out the window to kidnap and kill him, with my ONE last security guy I hired actively fighting rocks and pistols out of peoples hands yelling “drive!” She was scared to run someone over or get shot. Finally she drove and we were followed around Pueblo for an hour until we ran out of gas and thankfully broke down in front of the sheriffs dept. Had to get a police escort back to the venue just to get our stuff and the entire crowd was laying on their bellies in the parking lot cuffed or zip tied. The speakers were broken, his bus was fucked up, people were hurt or dead or getting arrested, the bar was trashed, merch/drinks were looted, shots were fired. And everyone had to experience it except for Lynch, who was safely four blocks away in the 4 star hotel room I paid for and 4k dollars I handed over. I was a broken kid with a broken dream and broken hope that night because I assumed my idol was a superhero and learned he’s a human with his own life and needs and feelings. I tried and almost made it somehow with NOTHING to start with. So it hit me extra hard when he said “naw” to performing after all the opening acts were finished. I love Lynch and his music is a religion to me damn near. But don’t idolize your favorite rappers, remember they’re human too.

So he sued you, and the court saw it his way? Seems like you're leaving out some crucial information, buddy.
@Savageaf3035 ай бұрын
@@brothalynchhung24 only half of it 😂 I love you man. now let’s be honest. You did refuse to perform due to unprofessional stage lighting and didn’t show up for the meet and greet we charged extra for before the show. And C-Lim did state the reason being that and being a couple hundo short after paying yall over 4k. And you did go on instagram blasting my personal information while I was receiving death threats from people mad about not getting refunded. And I did lose my ability to ever work in the music scene again. But adding some misinformation such as you suing me (you chose not to) was the best way to get you to respond because I needed you to see this: you’ve been my hero since I was 14 years old. That show was my dream I hustled up from nothing and it all fell apart. Largely due to working with a partner addicted to heroin who wasn’t forwarding his part of the $ to C-Lim. Also because you flat refused to perform regardless of a sold out venue- I understand it was undesirable with my poverty level setup, but that’s every cent I could muster my bro. The crowd did riot, there was violence, the police did swarm the venue, and somebody did die. They did confiscate many pistols from the crowd after a “kill the sound guy” chant. But I’ve been searching for a way since 2014 to apologize to you. I jumped the gun on a dream at 21 years old without the capital or resources to pull it off successfully. It was still worth it to me to try my best. That was hands down the second worst night of my entire life and it was traumatic for sure. Most of the crowd wanted us literally dead. I was just shooting for a dream homie- young, dumb, and broke. I enrolled in college just to get loans to book you lol. My card declined when you drove 15 hours to the hotel I booked and I hustled up the hotel cost within an hour and drove to Pueblo personally to pay it so yall could sleep. I’m sorry Lynch. I’m sorry and I posted this to get your attention because I have wanted to apologize for a decade. And tell you I still love you and your music. And I’d love to make it up to you some day. You’re the reason I got into rap and performing and promoting. I had one goal: book and meet Lynch. And it went the worst it possibly could have. Please email me at ktafoya@srchope.org if you see this because I’ve been trying to get this out there for 10 years. I’m a recovery coach now and manage a chain of 3 sober living homes. I’m 4 years clean and trying to redeem myself for that crash and burn of a show. I was upset you wouldn’t perform after all that hell I went through and was more upset it was your “Fucc Da Industry Tour” and your reasoning for not performing was that my setup didn’t meet industry standards. But I know you were tired. And didn’t have a room to crash in for an hour when you arrived. And you have a life too.
@Savageaf3035 ай бұрын
@@stuffilike6755 @brothalynchhung24 naw he didn’t. I added in a couple lies to see if he’d reply because I’ve been needing to address this since 2014. Many truths in there, but that would be the main lie for bait purposes. Most of that is truth. However, I did leave some things out like you said. Actually, rereading that, the only fake news was getting sued- He chose not to pursue a case even though contractually, I agreed to get sued if he wanted to. That was very kind, or just inconvenient to pursue. Either way I was grateful. Everything else in my original post is 100% true. BUT, I did leave out my own failure to fulfill my contractual obligations in full. Only about 80% but I agreed to 100% and signed it. I fucked up. However, read my replies and you’ll know why I was justifiably upset, too. “Fucc Da Industry Tour” led me to believe my ghetto concert setup straight from the projects would be enough for him to perform for a packed out venue full of his biggest fans. I did have the entire Colorado rap and hip-hop scene there as well either performing or scouting. Black Pegasus and Scott, Hex Rated, tons of local artists, LSP, etc. The ghetto vibe and smaller local venue and very mid sound equipment and loss of lighting techs felt appropriate for someone who came up from the blocc. I hoped reminding Lynch where he came from would provide a humble yet SICC performance we would all never forget and all they had to do to get the last of the money was perform or even show up for the pre-show meet and greet many people paid 50 bucks for instead of 20 for general admission. I refunded about a dozen people the 30 extra bucks when he didn’t show. C Lim, at the last minute, said they’d prefer to do it AFTER the show because they weren’t confident we’d be able to pay the last of the contracted price. I was frustrated because that turned it into a self-fulfilling concern by costing us even more to change major plans that were literally printed on every flier for that show. Bottom line was we were a little short on cash and the lighting techs I hired didn’t show. It was a poverty level setup but it was sold out and people were HYPED. He didn’t make the meet and greet before the show and he did stay at the hotel down the street the whole time. Decided not to perform last minute due to insufficient stage lighting and not having the last few hundo out of 4.5k. Which is fair because I signed a contract. However, Lynch was my shit since I was 14. This was my dream. I came from nothing, raised in the projects. I enrolled in college just to get the loans to pay for the down payment on this show. I thought if anyone would be down to perform to a couple hundred diehard fans in a cheap local venue in a small ghetto town with the best sound equipment and techs I could afford (which wasn’t the best), it would be Lynch on his Fucc Da Industry Tour. I failed to fulfill the technicalities within the industry contract I signed, so according to industry practices, he didn’t have to perform. I took Fucc Da Industry too literally and didn’t realize it was part of his whole deal. And he was tired af from a 15 hour drive in the bus earlier on. I get it. My partner was horrible. I made a bad choice of who to go into business with and that contributed a lot to the downfall of this experience. He neglected to secure stage lighting as his only job besides booking local artists to open. Even with that part, he let a handful of artists pay in cocaine or let them stay on the roster even when they didn’t sell any tickets or pay their deposits. Then his mom was pocketing money working the front entrance booth selling tickets for drugs and alcohol and was shitfaced half the night with zero dollars in her cash box. He was pocketing half the money he collected from the opening artists to buy heroin. I was just a 21 year old ghetto kid from the projects and everyone I knew or loved was addicted to drugs and that didn’t work out. I had a dream that was coming true, I was excited, I did everything right on my part, and it felt like everybody else I loved, looked up to, or trusted just fucked me over and ruined my soul on a deep level. It still hurts man. And I haven’t been the same ever since. I was wishing for Lynch as basically my idol at the time to save the day and decide he could get on board with a ghetto local show and kill it anyways so I wasn’t absolutely ruined and my life dream didn’t die with my soul that night. But that didn’t happen. He said “naw” and I just crumbled from there. Still haven’t recovered. I slipped into heroin addiction myself to deal, and lost everything there forward. Not Lynch’s fault. I was just young, dumb, and idolized a rapper who I didn’t realize was just as human as me. I love Lynch man. Always have, always will. I’m just seeking closure. I get it. But I imagined him differently. I imagined him from my warped fan perspective as a rebel against the industry who would say “well, you don’t have professional stage lighting and our sound isn’t the best but there’s a couple hundred hardcore Lynch fans waiting for me, so Fucc da industry and imma do this ghetto ass show because I’m a ghetto ass sicc made muhfucker.” Ya know? I wasn’t in the right, but I envisioned this man differently than I learned he was. I still love his music and his persona. I was just hurt and my dream crumbled into dust in real time while I observed from the outside of myself and was traumatized through the course of a couple hours. I was just a kid. Who worked hard for a dream that was inches from becoming a miraculous achievement for a project kid. That destroyed me. Does that make sense?

@@brothalynchhung24 fixed it so it’s all true news. Needed your attention to finally receive my apology and tell you what I’ve needed to tell you for a decade big homie. Everything I said about the impact and that night starting a downhill journey into rock bottom was true as fucc. I was a kid and I idolized you and I was on cloud 9 that day with my dream miraculously coming true as a project kid who never had shit and shouldn’t have been able to pull off all that I managed to put together. My idol was sicc made from the blocc and I chose to bid on you over every other tour coming through CO because I knew I was only capable of a ghetto ass hood ass concert in a gangster ass town in a small ass local venue with some mid ass equipment- but I knew since I was 14 that Pueblo was PACKED with religiously zealous Lynch fans and they ALL showed up. You shoulda seen it cuz.. it was my absolute personal best and I gave every drop of myself, my time, effort, and every dollar I could hustle because I had so much love and deep connection to your music from my soul.
