I like how she was saying "I don't have to cut the thread!" ...and then proceeds to cut the long bobbin tail.

Yeah...it does cut the thread...but it does not "clean up" the ends for you. The demo is a bit misleading...you do have to do some trimming to make your item more presentable...but the "cut" feature on this machine is still a very handy feature to have.

I bought a Brother Innovis NX 600 in 2007. Over 400 stitches. Still going strong. But she is wrong...I have the ability to set my brightness, language, etc. as well on my machine. My machine was made before this one. The only thing it doesn't do is embroidery. Love my Brother!!!!

The point I was making is that the model number/name is the " Brother PC-420 PRW " ...HSN has deftly avoided announcing the model name in this advertisement. If you want to get any online information, get pricing comparisons, consumer reiews of this machine, or check it out at a "brick and mortar" location...you need to know the actual model number. I own this machine...and it has far more than that number of stitches...including the ability to create your own "custom" stitch designs.

You don't clean it up you leave it for another project. And you leave the thread on it for the same thing.

smh....at 2:50 you can see in her demo that the machine did leave a thread "tail" behind...and she picks up her scissor and quickly cleans it up (even though she said the machine leaves no tails at all). In 50 years of sewing....I ought to know if a "cut" feature leaves tails or not....and I have NEVER failed to "clean them up". How long have you been sewing?
