I have a GGB, she is a very aggressive eater. She is so fun to feed. She is not eating right now bc she is in her pre molt stage. She would wrestle with the food. She would literally flip over with the prey. It's so funny.

So many gorgeous Ts today! And some fierce appetites! Meow! Do you or Mr. Tarantula Kat ever have to handle Bowser? IF you ever do, you might want to check out the latest Clint's Reptiles video on common snapping turtles and how to handle them. He has a slightly different way than the usual 2 hands at the back of the shell that seems to be both safe for the handler and causes the turtle less stress. Worth a look if you have to handle Bowser. Side note: You will never get me to rejoin social media no matter how many times you cast that charm spell at me. My immunity to charm is quite high.

Been trying to feed my avic avic hornworms for a couple weeks now. I think she’s scared of them. Tried to give one to my GBB yesterday and it seemed scared too BUT after a couple hours finally ate it. Yay!

Euwgh! haha. I wonder if they got a higher water content veg than usual? Idk how they raise Bowser looked like he considered nomming that fish, talk about slick! Pancake spider says no visitors, off my porch. The red and black one trusting you to lower her while she was locked in to the worm, awwwwww! So neat how the scorpions fit inside the curve of each others tail for efficient stacking.

i have a pink salmon bird eater and recently found out its female super stoked because here adult females can cost like £100 to buy and i got her in a mystery box for way cheaper
@thomasbazin15294 ай бұрын
Would probably be more spectacular with an adult pampho/phormictopus/theraphosa or any real big terrestrial spider. My pampho female just destroys superworms (one bite and it's already dangling in her chelicerae, split in two). Adult dubias don't fare much better. I don't use hornworms bc we don't really get them over here. Plus mealworms/superworms/dubias are so easy to breed in very little space, and can be used for any size of T.
