Oh sorry, did not think you are using iPhone to print. Did you download the app? If so you will need to save your files to your folder in iphone then from the brother app pick the file up then print. There is no direct printing in iOS.

I’m stuck at understanding if the printer is connected to WiFi. Think I need to knock on the door of a neighbour who has a young child to come and help me. Kids today are experts!

I have installed the printer and it is able to print when cable connected to my laptop. Mobile printing is also done and printer is connected to WiFi network. My question is: How come I cannot print from laptop without the cable connected to printer? I thought should be able to print from laptop wirelessly too. Would you know? Thanks.

You will to reinstall the printer using wifi only so this will register as wireless printer as well.

I brought this printer today, pretty stink it doesn't include a cable with it of which I didn't realise until I got the printer home and opened everything. From reading most questions, it proves that the manual instructions are not easy for the average person who is not tech savvy to understand and follow. I myself am slowly setting this thing up of which I may give up soon and get my grand child to do because it's frustrating haha.

Did you use a print cable to install the driver? then you can retro connect to wifi once the printer driver is already in your OS. you will need to enable WPS in 2.4Ghz in your router as well

hi, your wifi must have a 2.5ghz signal this is the only way the printer can communicate via wifi.. install via cable then select wifi option. remove cable then connect your pc to the modem the print. also go to control panel, printers, check if you can see the printer from PC with no cable attached

The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.
