Brother MFC-J5330 UNBOXING and installing LC3217 LC3219 inkjet cartridges

I did itexactly the same way , it doesn't work ; it keeps showing this manual how to install the cardriges ; it never comes to the end of the installation ; can someone explain that to me please

So You are in the last steps of initializing Your new Brother printer - You have set in the original setup cartridges that came with the printer and the final step after setting in these cartridges - processing the cartridge information never comes to an end?

Hello, maybe you can help me. I recently purchased the above printer from a website in Greece. I live in Greece. But it arrived from Spain (?!) and the only available LCD display languages are Italian/Spanish/Portugese. I contacted Brother but no solution yet. Can I install a different firmware to have at least English displayed? I have successfully installed the printer to a windows 7 PC and it works but I cannot read the LCD screen.

Hello Stavros, thank you very much for Your question. This is the first time we read that there is a printer for the European market that does not come with English language. We are not aware of an opportunity to install additional languages on a Brother printer. Sorry. Maybe You can try to make an firmware update manually by using the driver utility on You PC as You can read the language there. We are not sure about the outcome but it is worth a try.

can you print vinyl paper

Hello, thanks for Your question. By vinyl you refer to paper sheet material that is plastic based? When these sheets have a gloosy surface the original Brother inks will not hold on this surface as the inks are waterbased and they cannot hold on such a glossy paper.

Thanks for Your input. Are You working with a printer for another global region? They usually have the same name but different programming.
