My machine's bobbin winder not working! Do you know if it is covered in warranty? Is it advisable to open the machine? Is it advisable to repair it or use an portable machine instead?

There are scratches on the bobbin or it doesn't rotate properly. Replace the bobbin. Make sure the bobbin winder is pushed to the right to engage the mechanism.
