Hi, great tip. If you keep the transfer tape on the back of your scraps you can reuse them on your scan n cut. Cheers

Thank you for this video! I am going to try this method, looks great! I have used orange cleaner for my mat. Let it set for a few minutes and use the rubber scrapper to help get all the stuff off the mat.
@jeanniesdesigns52954 күн бұрын
That sounds like a great method!

To make it easier to see the lines you can change your scan to black and white which should give you better contrast.

You spray it on full strength, stir around the debris with spatula scraping very gently, then wipe clean with baby wipes. Non alcohol. Voila!

Hi! Thank you for this video!! On your next one, could you show how you saved the pattern in your scan n cut. On the bag buddie pattern, do you scan it and save it to canvas workspace them make a duplicate and weld them together to get one piece?

Newbie question. Why aren't the svg files provided in the correct size like pattern pieces are? And also how do you know what size to resize them to? Thank u.
@jeanniesdesigns52952 күн бұрын
that is a good question on the sizing... I'm not a creator so not sure I can answer it. Many brother scan and cut files have to be resized as the mats only allow a certain number of images I guess. It is very easy to do... Video coming!

Another tip is to only use the Fabric Mats.(biege) Much stickier. Lasts longer.

If you run your mat under hot water you can scrap off the gunk and old adhesive. Then use Zig 2 way glue to restick your mat for longer ware and use

What size needle do you use when sewing with leather? Do you cut your leather bag pieces on your brother or do you use a rotary cutter?
@jeanniesdesigns5295Күн бұрын
Hi I'm using an 18 needle... yes I cut some out on the brother, the bigger ones I cut with the rotary.

I would just tape the piece down or I've used basting spray. however the purpose of the transfer tape is to save your mat from all the fuzzies.
