Thank you so much! I finally fixed my machine (a PC-420). The little white piece didn't come out on mine but was able to get under there with some tweezers and replace it. Hallelujia!

In auto department you can buy a magnetic bowl to hold parts like nuts and bolts etc so they do not get lost. Works great.

Oh I will look into that! Thank you for the tip!

They have them at Harbor Freight Tools. I use them for pins and all of my little metal sewing implements.

Thank you for your useful videos. I wonder if you can do one about replacing the horizontal spool pin on the Brother SE400. I can't think I'm the only one that's broken one, but I've had no luck in finding a video about how to replace it. I've bought a replacement but can't figure out how to install it. Thank you.

Oh the one on the top. Let me tinker with it and see if I can figure it out

Seems like this procedure would be much easier with an offset screwdriver and bent tip tweezers. No need to remove the head or pry apart the front of the machine if an offset screwdriver was used. Bent tip tweezers instead of needle nose pliers would make the actual blade change much easier. Did appreciate the demo, but proper tools would facilitate the process!

Thank you so much! I have an SE 400. Do you have a video on how to remove threads that are stuck under the brush? Do you think I have to purchase that brush? There’s a lot of pieces thread that I can’t seem to remove.
@waynekaa4 жыл бұрын
The brush at 5:22? I probably would try to blow it out after I took it out so the threads don't get stuck in the machine
@Estellamed4 жыл бұрын
@@waynekaa yes it’s that one. But I’m not confident in doing it myself. But again, thanks for advice. Keep posting, please.

I have an SE 1900 and I did replace the blade but now I cannot get it to move on its own to cut the blade. When I start the machine it goes to the original position but then won't move back to cut the thread. Any ideas?

Do you have any recommendations on why the lcd screen might not respond to touch and how to fix it?
@waynekaa4 жыл бұрын
Did you do anything to the LCD screen, drop it, spill something on it, or have you opened your machine before?
@MyName-yx4qs4 жыл бұрын
I got one off eBay, it may have been damaged in transport? I’ve worked with these machines and opened them before though.
@waynekaa4 жыл бұрын
@@MyName-yx4qs Oh that's good, I'd probably just open it up and clean off the connections to the LCD and see if that's all it needs first

There's no an easy way to fix it am afraid to open my sewnig machine like you did😒
@waynekaa4 жыл бұрын
It's not a full open of the sewing machine its like 20% open on that side. I assume you're worried about opening the white part, you're ok with unscrewing the metal panel and removing the gray plastic plate right? Cos if you're afraid of doing that part, you won't be able to reach it.

I did it last night and it works... your video was the key. Thank you very much
