I'm so glad I found this video even though it's 2 yrs old! I was loosing my mind! My needle was constantly coming unthreaded when I used my auto cutter so had quit using it and I guess I wasn't putting the right words in the search engine, but FINALLY I found you! I cleaned under the mechanism and it works like a charm now! Thank you soooo much!

This is lovely thank you so much! My question is how do you "move" the thread cutter if the machine doesn't let you do that while it's taken apart? I have a brand new Brother Innovis NQ1700E embroidery only machine. Thank you so much!

That is SO much easier than the Singer. My cutter blade came out and to replace it, you have to basically take the entire machine apart!!

And…the blade in the holder is a simple 9 mm blade as in what goes in a retractable blade cutter..that’s the fix if the fuzz removal hasn’t helped..REPLACE THE BLADE EASILY

Good to know. I think I need a Jew blade on my embroidery machine. At next service maybe we get a replacement.
