Question My thread is wrapping around my bobbin. I noticed my bobbin case is not locking in my bobbin. What could be my problem ? I have rethreaded it and put in a new needle. I cleaned all lent and light oiled the bobbin area.

Good afternoon. Cool video. Its been forever since I've used the embroidery part. Need to relearn. I have that same machine. Can you answer a question? Can you drop the feed dogs in regular sewing mode. Or must it be in embroidery mode. Thanks for any response.

I paid $200 for one. As an embroidery it is too fiddly, better get dedicated embroidery machine, but as a sewing - this has everything and then more.

I will say yes, if you can deal with the fact it doesn't have a USB connection, coz it only uses Design cards and floppies, and the internal designs. I bought one fully loaded and in pristine condition on 12-20-23, and at this moment had done three major projects with it, all of them with four or more colors, and it has been a champ!!!! It is so easy to use, and the instruction manual is very helpful, at least for me, and I got it from the internet. And the stitches are GORGEOUS!!!!! Some people have been able to modify it with a USB emulator that substitutes the floppy disk drive, and you can use USB drives that will work as if they were floppies. A one GB USB drive can hold the content of about 900 floppies, so you need to be aware of that, coz the USB drive has to be specially formatted into floppy, and that is something extra. I am planning to do that later but with another machine that I am planning to buy and hoping it works. Good Luck!!!!!

Hello. I do have some questions! With this device can you upload fonts and designs to it using a USB? I am thinking about purchasing this machine. Also I make sashes and I would need the letters to be at least 2.5-3 inches in height. Do you think this machine can do that?

This machine only reads cards. But you might upload and put a Usb port. If you find a new case :/

Yes you can if you replace the drive with a an upgraded usb emulator. Then it’ll read usb thumb drives.

Hey would you know what embroidery foot would work with this machine. I purchased it off of a women online and she didnt give me the embroidery foot 😔

It has to be the original one but perhaps a new one from brother can do the work too.

The presser foot for that machine is Brother XC1274-001. Hope this works for you
