Honestly, I think the Kirua vs. Irumi fight in the old series is legendary. There was a tension and fear that made me want to vomit, even though it wasn't overly staged. Especially Irumi neutral voice and tone of voice that didn't seem to be accompanied by any emotion at all was creepy and scary.
