Specialist just means you don't fit into any other category it doesn't mean you can use techniques from each category to 100% effectiveness, that's something unique to Kurapika, just worth pointing that out because a lot of people get that wrong. Specialists can be dangerous to come across for Nen users because you have no idea what kind of form a Specialist's hatsu can take on, with other categories like enhancer you kind of already have an idea of what they can and can't do but with a Specialist you can get a hatsu like Neon's or one like Kurapika's which can be very dangerous if you don't know about it.

Poor Shalnark, I think he cared about Uvo more than anyone💔 I'm always amazed by how different his character is from typical villains. The whole Troupe are unique as villains, but he is even more unique than all of them. Always being positive and smiling, caring about his friends like a true normal friend... You would never guess he was actually a villain, a heartless murderer.

Also, you said Shalnark is the least interesting Troupe member cuz he's always smiling and other members have crazy abilities?? Do you know what "unique" means??? Villains having crazy abilities is EXPECTED, it's not something that only happens with certain villains. Shalnark is different because he does NOT give you typical villains vibe. He's not of cold/edgy type like some of Troupe members (Feitan, Machi) and isn't crazy about fighting and being the strongest like Uvo. These are some of the most common/used villain tropes in stories. Shalnark, on the other hand, genuinely acts like a healthy normal human. He doesn't even give off psycho vibes. That's why I said he's unique as a villain.

In the episode 51 he's literally the only one who was playing with the Mafia goons with his phone like in a video game before killing them, the others troupe members would just kill them without hesitation... His character is the super smart/good looking guy who is also a sociopath and that's why he's able to blend into society. He's literally blond. How is this unique 🤣🤣🤣🤣 every fucking blond character in anime is kinda like that but less boring My bad, not every blond character but the majority of blond villain in manga, films, shows... are literally like this but less boring, less annoying and they have more aura. They're not just there smiling all the time like dumbasses This is like saying L or Light Yagami from Death note are unique characters

Yea that is really the most broken part of it but I guess it's balanced out by the condition that it will kill him if it's ever used on anyone besides the Phantom Troupe, so the consequence of the ability is that he spent all the time and energy creating it just for it to be useless outside of a handful of people in the world
