Julie.....this info is soooo helpful. I like the nut & bolts discussions, and the "how do I do that" info that you really need to know to use your Scan n Cut to its full potential. Please keep these detailed instructional videos coming... They are greatly appreciated!!!!

Just for someone who is knew to this file type, .SVG = Scalable Vector Graphics, which means that the image saved in this file type can be resized without losing its proportions. You can use Adobe Ilustrator to create .SVG files.

Thank you Julie! I have so many eps and dxf files that I convert to svg files using my CoralDraw program. Then I can use them in my SNC machine or upload them to SNC Canvas to manipulate. I'm sure there are other programs out there that can do the same thing. Just thought I'd share. :-)

So, I just opened my SNC 250. If I understand this correctly there is no major work to be done to an SVG file to convert it so I Can use it here in my SNC. So all of my Silhouette files I purchased I can use here? I sold the darn machine, too complicated! But if I can use all those shapes here without major technical input I am so happy! Sandy

I have been confused about all these different files. I'll need to repeat this to get it all in. When I buy things like graphics on sat Etsy or clothing patterns., they almost always are PG files. Then I put them on my reading list to save in iBooks. I don't know any other way to do it. I make quilts, bags and aproms. In paper I make cards and mini albums. I've had my scanncut since last December, took intro to how to use basics and have not made one thing yet. But I have several of videos saved on Pinterest and KZbin. Thank you for all you do!

I tried to get into scan and cut Canvas and it said I had to have a premium acct. Or to have purchased a premium package to get canvas. It wants a 12-16 digit # to enter canvas. How can I rectify this?

i purchased the Disney paper craft 1 card. I uploaded it to my Canvas Work Space. I open the file that I want and download the .zip file to my iMac. When I unzip the file it shows up as a .fcn file instead of a .fcm file. Is there something that I am missing.

Hi Julie, Why can't I download the Free Monthly Files they go to Win Zip and I don't know how to get them to either canvas or the Scan N Cut.
