The opening with Juggs under Mystique on Skrulls has some subtlety to it. If you go deep enough that you aren't still touching the back point and then *fail* the Skrull roll, your opponent can push you to a place where you might not be able to get back on the point.

Yeah I thought about that too, but ultimately it was always Alex's intention to be able to push back onto it, so I didn't want to punish the slight misunderstanding of his ability because it could have backfired had the roll failed.

So, thunderous splash is character other than Blob, not the target, so Pyro could have been pushed with the thunderous splash

Yeah we realised a few days later in another game that we had misused the ability, I don't see Blob very often so I just didn't question it much. Thanks for the correction!

Rhinos place is before damage so Mystique should get martial artist

Before damage is still after the determine success and failure step, so unfortunately for Mystique and other Martial Artist users, it does not help them there. Similarly for things like cover, which would work against Rhino in this instance, where cover would be applied before he places, as after he would've been within range 2 to ignore it.

Hey total noob here. Doesn't Mystique make a mistake first turn? Moves twice then uses an active tactics card? Making it 3 actions used.

"Active" just means it needs to be played while you are the active player but doesn't use any actions, while "Active:Action" takes one of your 2 actions in a turn.
