I played this at my mothers funeral today. I fell in love with your arrangement immediately upon hearing it. It’s so full of emotion. Over the course of these last months, whenever I’d make progress on this piece, I’d show her. She always smiled at me and told me how beautiful she found it. The whole atmosphere in the first FMA series is unmatched till this very day. It reminds me a lt of the Damnation album by Opeth: that big nostalghia, melancholy, sadness... all in it. I highy suggest you, people, to look for the song Windowpane by Opeth, maybe you'll like it. Both stuff came in the same year actually. Y'know, when I first watched full metal alchemist brotherhood as a kid I never truly understood the meaning and pain of the anime. but after listening to the soundtracks you truly understand the pain and guilt Edward felt, yeah they made the anime funny but there was always that feeling of guilt within him. This anime taught me so many lessons about life, and It's amazing really.

This is amazing. You played it so smoothly and if I'm to be honest, I think it sounds better than the original itself. This version has an element that the original didn't, I'm not sure what it was that you did but it made it sound a lot lighter than the original. It also makes it seem less gloomier than the original (not that there is anything wrong with gloomy) and makes it, in my opinion, more enjoyable to listen to. Amazing Transcription! Great cover! I saw the original FMA but not BrotherHood because I felt too lazy to watch 50+ more episodes :/ Still wondering if the endings are different or not..

it is soo different, brotherhood have much much more extended story after the original. watch it dude, well you can skip few episodes though it's mostly recap on the first half of brotherhood

I would recommend watching brotherhood because the plot completely divulges and is in general better than fma 2003. If you really want you can skip to episode 12 because the first 11 episodes are pretty much the same from fma 2003 and the manga. Brotherhood is a magnificent anime and you'd be missing out by not watching it.

The first ten episodes of Brotherhood are almost the same as in FMA03 After that it become really different, and much better

Watch it because it's worth it. But IMHO the first anime was better so please everyone stop to say "Brotherhood is much better" cause it just depends on personal tastes (even if Brotherhood is the "real" one from the mangaka").
