I wonder how many thousands of NEW fans they've earned? I never heard of them before today, but I love this guy's voice so I'm among those new fans! I especially love hearing country music with thoughtful, well-written lyrics like this one. There's enough silly songs about loving tractors and getting stupid drunk and bragging about it. These guys give me a Randy Travis vibe. I know Randy's had his problems, but the man has a gorgeous voice and great song-writing skills and so do these fellas.

66 yrs old - divorced now for almost 5 years from my wife - just shy of our 40th anniversary...sitting all alone in my apartment on self imposed "house arrest" struggling to stay optimistic for our future as we all endure this COVID-19 saga. Hoping for the sun to shine again, the whole time leaning on music to maintain some sense of sanity. Songs like this are so unique and uplifting - a song about the spontaneous passion that love ignites... I play it over n over... it brings me back to a night long ago, when my wife of over 21 years, who I was separated from at the time, miraculously came back to me. Such a beautiful memory that this song portrays in both lyrics & sound. As I play it, I close my eyes and thank God for every minute that I was able to share w/her. It allows me to grieve losing her, but still smile and remember the intense passion that we once shared. Comparing all gendre's of music, this is by far one of the most rhrythmic & soulful songs I've ever heard - a song that I believe will still capture an audience of listeners long after I pass... Awesome! Back in the 80s my boss's son had a progressive country band. All the members were gay and dressed like Roy Rogers with more sparkle (maybe more like Dale Evans? lol). They were so sweet and funny, their band was called "Boy Howdy!" This was in Dallas, and there was also an all girl bluegrass/country band I loved seeing playing at local events, they always dressed in vintage cowgirl outfits. I wish both bands had played together, but I don't think they ever did. That "girl" band is still around, but they got a new lead singer and changed their look and sound years ago. Now they've even changed their name and just call themselves "The Chicks".

Just came to give TJ some love!! Thank you for being such a brave soul, and bringing country music into the present day. As a gay country music fan this makes my heart soar!

He needs to be saved by the good god who is there for us and loves us. He is what every single one of us needs. Something is going on inside of Tj that only god knows. There is a spiritual war going on every day between good and evil. If someone reads this and disagrees, I please ask you to go to church this Sunday. We all need to pray for TJ.

The music is amazing. The band is terrific. And T.J.'s announcement (and his brother's loving reaction) will inspire many, many young folks who are uncertain and even scared about being different.

Yes!! Especially considering that country music is still a bastion of Good Ole Boys and Southern Belles, and neither group is necessarily easily amenable to rainbow humans peopling "their spaces." There are notable exceptions of course-- the first ally coming to mind being Dolly Parton-- but there aren't many vocal ones. I wish him all the best. May there one day be a day where coming out is unnecessary because everyone is loved and allowed to love.
