They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you dont feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others feel better. Have a nice day!"

Bentley has always had his own unique cowboy brand of songwriting. He's a master at crafting vivid imagery with simple, sparse word choice. I love his desert aesthetic
@StealAwayTheStars4 жыл бұрын
I always loved that about him too. He's from Arizona so I'm sure that's where the desert theme comes from and he uses it a lot in his songs and videos. He's always been one of my favorites. I've been fed up with a lot of what passes for country these days but Deirks never lost his original sound and his lyrics are some of the best in today's country.

This is very relaxing, it calms and soothes the mind. It's amazing how a piece of music clears your thoughts and makes everything somehow seem simple and straightforward all of a sudden.

Ya though I walk threw the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil for Jesus wakes with me. And when things get to be to much songs like this come to mind and I stop and thank God for all that is good. I am not always bad , and I am not always good. For I am not perfect. Songs are a thing that can make you laugh. They can make you cry. Why thus is I do t know why. And I thank God for making people that can sing a song that touches our souls. To all veterans remember you are someone. You matter. From this old vet I give a shout out. HOOAH to my brothers and sisters.
