In her speech, she said that she went to her mother with her concerns that she wasn't worthy of such an award because other recipients had important positions in life and she was just a musician. Her mother reminded her of the many times people have contacted them with stories about how they were sad and depressed and Pau's music had saved them. Mom was right.

8630 , I did not talk to their mother but I am one of them that I feel like Paulina and her sisters have saved my life. There's a lot of people that don't understand depression and don't really give a hoot, It can be a terrible disease And if you have no one to help you with it it makes it even worse. I don't know how it turned out this way but I feel like the sisters have saved my life, Paulina and her ballads always hit the sweet spot. Start getting emotional before she even starts, I love her to the moon and her sisters. I'm an old fart I'm 72 years old but I still love rock and roll⚡️⚡️⚡️🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽💙💙💙

Pau puts her own emotions into that cover which IMHO is what grabs you. That’s the difference between an artist who covers and one who makes it her own. Her performance of 23 live at Teatro Metrapolitan is an excellent example of an artist emoting while singing beautifully and drumming, mind blowing. Since they’re both on the same label, a Taylor Swift/The Warning collaboration would be interesting. And it’s not all that far-fetched to see her taking TW out on tour. Paramore opened a few shows of the Eras Tour. I’m not a big Taylor fan, but I’d love to see her do a cover of Stalker from Queen Of The Murder Scene.

What you say, Glenn and Adrian, about Paulina's independent work is not an isolated idea. For example, an Italian punk rocker and KZbinr once said that Paulina should start a side project to The Warning with her own band, where she would be the frontwoman. It doesn't seem likely to me at all because of how close the Villarreal sisters are and the busy schedule they have. But maybe in 10 years it will be different.
