The girls mentioned that they had to choose between one show at Palacio de los Deportes (a sports venue for 20,000) or Auditorio Nacional. They chose the latter for its cultural relevance. Auditorio Nacional has been considered several times by specialized media as the world's best venue in it's type. If you are an architecture lover, you'll love it's brutalist/postmodern style. Besides it has perfect acoustics and isoptics. Meaning that no matter where you are sat, you will enjoy the songs and have a good view of the huge stage. That I know it first hand because I've been there several times. In addition it's the most prestigious arts recint of the country just behind Palacio de Bellas Artes.

It's Auditorio Nacional and it is considered among the world's best venues. It is not an arena, but a specialized concert venue.

I have read that some of the biggest artists of Mexico and other countries have performed there. That is one of the reasons the Warning want to perform there, it a very important venue in their country.

From another interview, they said the original line was Belly of the Beast and they didn’t like it while they were recording it. In the session in the parking lot, they changed it to Hell You Call a Dream.

The girls are on a stratospheric curve as far as their career goes, while at the same time becoming stronger and more avaricious musical vampires by soaking up as much knowledge and experience in all areas concerning their writing all the way up to their instrument craft. I get the feeling that even in as little as 5 years, this time period will be seen as them just getting started.

i believe Que Mas Quieres was originally written in English. I am So proud for them as all their years of hard work coalesce into venue after venue opening for them!, I have the image of Dany explaining Rock Band, pointing to the screen saying "we want to do THAT!" burned in my brain. again, a great reaction, thanks.

Yes, 2 10K shows (CDMX) the first date sold out in a day (hours) so they added a 2nd date & I think that’s sold out now too. It’s considered the prestige venue in Mexico. Fun fact: There’s also a smaller venue within that’s called auditorio LUNARIO.
@cudnovati_6 ай бұрын
that is correct, the one and only Lunario is right there, it shouldnt have taken them 6-7 years to go from Lunario to Auditorio (and there are many different reasons for that) but they made it!

I checked ticket master and there are still tickets available, they are all in the very back.

They will be reminiscing about their concert at Lunario since its next door.

Lunario is the smaller brother of Auditorio Nacional. Capacity for about 1000 souls I believe. The girls sold out Lunario in 2018.

In their own way, DPA have always been "topliners" of sorts... One of them, usually Paulina, would come up with a melody or verse, in the making, then take it to the sisters and they would all then, as they call it, "Warningfy" it and make it sound like them. Great response. Take Care David

The venue in Mexico City (CDMX) they are referring to is the Auditorio Nacional - “National Auditorium”... not just any show can be held there. The place is designated for presenting world-class performances. Some of the most famous artists who have performed there include: Sting, Peter Gabriel, The Cranberries, Garbage, Bryan Adams, Coldplay, Def Leppard, Shakira, Al Moon, Pet Shop Boys, Franz Ferdinand, The Rasmus, among others.

Fun fact: outside of Auditorio Nacional, in what is called "Paseo de las Lunas" you can see plaques with names engraved on it. The name of the artists who gave the best performances of the year. It's a quite eclectic list that includes la crème de la crème, from Ballet Bolshoi, Ennio Morricone, Ballet Folklórico de México, Plácido Domingo, to U2, Depeche Mode, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Daft Punk, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Santana to Juan Gabriel, Paco de Lucía, Joan Manuel Serrat, Vicente Fernández, Mariachi Vargas, Luis Miguel, to Café Tacvba, Caifanes, Julieta Venegas, Shakira, Madonna, and so on and so forth. I'm sure that we will see soon a plaque with "The Warning" engraved for eternity in "Paseo de las Lunas".

The other downside of really large venues for a headlining touring band, is you really have to upsize the stage production as well, which can significantly increase the cost of touring. Probably not as big a deal for headlining shows in their home country, but could be elsewhere. 😎👍

Aloha Adrian & Glenn, What I wonder about is how much of David Bendeth creeps into these new compositions? Have they just pushed David aside or do they still remember the things he instilled in their time together? From what I'm hearing, the sisters have left David behind. Onward to new horizons! It's all Good!! I'm here for the long haul!! Salud! #APDVillaReality

Many fans do not like Anton Delost much as they say his songs are overproduced and use to many filters. Fans agree the 3 songs co produced by Dan Lancaster are the best. In a couple of recent interviews they make it sound like Delost was their choIce to produce KMF. In at least two interviews about 6 months ago and a magazine interview last week they talk about how hard they had to work to find a producer. Because of the schedule every one on their long list they wanted turned them down. they said finally since they wrote some with Delost they settled on him. I googled him about 6 months ago and only saw to positive websites talking about him. One was his own, the other was his publicity company.
