These Girls actually saved my life back then. Feb 11th 2020 My wife suddenly died and I was ready to give up on life. Not by suicide but just not caring or giving two sh^ts about it. I found these Girls soon after and decided to perk up and live.

Ale, the reluctant rock star. She has the charisma and the powerful alto voice, though…those Villarreal genes are dominant and will not be denied.

Ale was FIFTEEN here! At that age, she had as good of a voice as Dany did at 15 imho, with possibly better tone and equivalent control

I will have to disagree, Dany Vocals on the songs from XXI Century Blood album were amazing. And then a year later, on Crimson Queen Dany Vocals are incredible. But I absolutely love Ali's voice and her Bass playing is immaculate. It's too bad Ali doesn't want to sing , if her heart was in it and she had the level of perseverance and dedication Dany has, she would be an incredible singer like her Sister's... I truly hope she changes her mind about signing lead...

@@RockMusic1959 I think Ale here is definitely on par with Dany from the Escape the Mind era, when Dany was closer to Ale's age here. Just my observation
@mt4design22 ай бұрын
One thing about their earlier songs was they were sung in the range most males would sing in...very low. That's VERY hard to do and project power. When she sings in a range where she's most comfortable...where her voice really shines...her voice really shines. When she decides the world is ready to hear her sing lead again, with the right song made to fit her voice, she's going to leave so many absolutely shocked.

The video starts out with Pau and Ale playing a little drum+bass interlude while Dany greets the crowd. This was a regular part of their concerts during that era, and they did this between the first and second song. Usually this lead into "Dust To Dust", but not this time.

Watching this on Thanksgiving Day. IDK where the concept originated other than the song is about Thanksgiving, but ever since college there has been a tradition of listening to Alice's Restaurant. It is something I shared with my kids after they were old enough to appreciate the humor of the song. My eldest daughter had to work today, but she answered my Thankgiving Day wishes with this: "I'll be listening to Alice's Restaurant on the way home from work." Happy Thanksgiving, Glenn and Adrian.

Yes Pau has learned many things the 15 years or so she has been behind the kit and yes she has more strength and also has learned to not use up more energy with unnecessary movements so great to see over the years as Pau has mastered different parts of her craft!

Thank you, Glenn and Adrian. At that time, Alejandra's voice was still noticeably immature (a thing of her age), but she is a good singer with her own voice timbre and characteristics. Hopefully, in the future, she will decide to sing a song written especially for her.

Their interactions as a band are always entertaining no matter what time in their career. I like how Dany starts the song here by supporting and encouraging little Sis. The first night here is when Pau mashed her finger wasn't it? "Automatic Sun" just dropped from the Pol'and rock fest. I doubt you can get away with a review though.

Ale sings the song lower than Dany because she's Contralto while Dany's an Alto; Ale's voice rests lower. Dany, an Alto, has enormous range, yet her voice rests higher. Pau is a Mezzo. Dany can hit higher notes in the Mezzo range, but it's about where Pau's voice rests and her incredible timbre, dynamics, and emotional content. You owe it to yourselves to listen to Ale sing Sinister Smiles, in "ALE CANTANDO SINISTER SMILES - The Warning". Ale sings A cappella in an out-of-focus video taken on a phone during a sound-check but it will change how you view Ale's vocal abilities and also what genre Ale was born to sing. (Hint: It's not Rock. It's just like Ale playing Rock with The Warning on her Bass when in reality she's a world-class jazz Bassist.)

Ale is an alto singer, which is the lowest range for female singers. My little sister sing alto and now tenor - we're old.... For Ale to be able to sing this which is written for Dany's voice as a contralto, that's tough. Yet through it all 15-year-old Ale steps up, shows strength and confidence while her fingers dance on the bass.
