Why would they do that, they'd lose money because nobody goes to see comedies in theaters unless they're also mega IPs. And poor box-office performance would lead to less people watching the movie at home that they might have otherwise enjoyed. Use your brain, dingus. Nobody would go see it, it's their money on the line, they already know this. Streaming is the only reason movies like this can be profitable and keep being made.
