Jon Evans have you tried the impossible burger? It’s totally different than your average veggie burgers. Next time you see a Burger King, try one they actually taste like meat. But yeah I personally hate veggie burgers cus they taste nothing like meat. The impossible burger is better.

as a vegetarian (kinda) i eat so much vegan food and honestly most of it (especially spicy alternatives) taste no different. when you add spice or specific flavours you can make anything taste the same. the texture may not be up to par all the time but once you eat it for a while you don’t remember what regular meat tastes like quorn southern fried chicken tastes SO GOOD! there’s an irish brand too called linda something i can’t remember her name but their vegetarian burgers and sausage rolls taste NO DIFFERENT to regular meat. like fr fr. (although i do eat meat SOMETIMES like just when i’m out in a restaurant for convenience i try to not eat meat when i can) anyway
